Title: Post your favourite Non-Monster/Sci-fi/Mystery poster
Post by: Dr Wolfenstein on April 22, 2018, 04:28:19 PM
We have a few threads about posters I thought it would be fun to see posters that are not Monster/Sci-fi/Mystery related.
This is one of my favourites, I get a laugh out of it every time i see it.

Well, this IS a mystery of sorts...

"Say, are those diamonds in yer pocket or are ya just really hot to see me?"

This one probably shouldn't count since it's a DVD Cover, not a true movie poster...

But there are few posters or films where Richard Basehart can be "sinister", and this film's a wonderful example and the hackneyed posters-of-the-day did the film no justice.

(Oh, I am reminded this IS the poster used at the film festivals about ten years ago.)

Then, there's always the fable... "Dear Ralph Meeker, when you're new in prison, tossed in a cell with Bronson, William Talman, Lon Chaney Jr and Broderick Crawford, ya might want to button yer lip about some $200,000 you have stashed on the outside."
