I keep forgetting to ask - are those of you in Comcast and AT&T monopolies seeing the Spectrum Monopoly's TV ads using monsters as repeat characters?
These are basically generic, anti-satellite-TV ads, pimping cable as 'superior'. Here's one sample, the full Poker Game ad:

They're kind of funny. Some funny lines. ("Cancels out, then.") I like the puppet/dummy! ;D
I was curious of Comcast and AT&T were using these same ads. There are voice-overs for Spectrum, but they could easily have been voiced-over for these others. On YouTube, however, "spectrum monster commercials" presents a good enough listing, while nothing shows up for the other two ISPs. Just curious.
There are 3 YouTube entries on most of these: the "full one" is timed 1:01; there is a truncated 0:30 version that often has a different ending; then there is a 2+ minute full "scenes from taping sessions" version which has additional jokes or gags, some were edited out, some where rearranged. Kind of interesting. IF you're into watching TV commercials on YouTube.
Sometimes Hubby pulls up the LESS FILLING TASTES GREAT ones which I don't always 'get' because I don't know the American sports figures from the '60s and '70s.

I'm sure they are just for Spectrum (Time Warner Cable).
These are cool. Have never seen them. I live in Comcastland.
The first one of this series I remember seeing was this: Spectrum Monsters On Train:
