Title: Toy Display Options & Hardware
Post by: Monsters For Sale on July 04, 2016, 10:22:00 AM
This thread is not about toys.  I am placing this here because this is where we also have the thread SHOW US YOU MONSTER ROOM and it is about tricking out said monster rooms.

I noticed that these remote-controlled lights have recently come way down in price and can be a cool option for illuminating your favorite toys:

They actually do all the things they claim and look pretty darn cool.  I have used them in Halloween window displays and they don't use any more electricity than a single Christmas tree/night light bulb.  The E27 base is the standard US light bulb size (like 60W bulb) and the remote requires line-of-sight to work.

Do you have any cool things that you have come across for enhancing your toy/mask/etc. displays?

Has anyone tried these little solar-powered rotating display stands?  They sell all over eBay for so cheap that I wonder if they are any good.

They are just large enough to hold a small watch.

The only thing I dont like about this is that its Solar, so it has to be in the sun, and the sun is one of the WORST things to put your collectibles in.

Amen to that!

My monster areas look like the Mines Of Moria unless I turn the lights on, and that's as sparingly as possible.

Are you, like me, confused about accomplishing miniature LED ligting?

Here is a great tip (stolen from another thread) from member westbatman that will help lighting those little items you have displayed:
