through the last several years I had to sell off most of my vast monster and geek type collectibles and I may have had one of the biggest king kong gorilla themed collections around was even in major news paper for it. well through a chain of events none of which was growing too old or not liking the same toys and collectibles I had from the hay day of 60's 70's monster boom to the collectibles of today I had to liquidate them... and I did.. I know many have but now I come to the pages of this forum to look at and reminisces. Reducing from a monster room to a monster box is at times upsetting but my son just got me for my birthday now this is his first old enough to earn money to buy a gift on his own gift and he picked the best thing for me, on his own to me its very close to a modern replica of the old renzie king koin bank. a lot bigger but the same flavor. Thank you son.

Just looking at the picture I'd have sworn that was the Renzi bank!
Congratulations & happy birthday! You're never too old to enjoy a great toy. What a smart & considerate son you have!
Oh yeah! Happy Birthday!
Cool birthday gift! Happy B-Day jollygorilla!
That was a very thoughtful gift. It's obvious you're a good dad if your son has the such insight and feeling in his gift giving.
