...And for once, they are not mine! No, indeed--these cuties were made by a fellow Mego customizer over at the Mego Museum who goes by the handle "Edgaar." Most of the figures appear to be adaptations of existing Sideshow figures or Aurora models. I like the fact that Ed took liberties with the looks and added his own stamp to their appearance. It is not something I do with my own customs, and sometimes I regret it.
But the prize of the display is the Custom Monster Castle, a modified Disney/Barbie Cinderella Castle. A quick paint job and some apparent dremeling make all the difference. It works out really well, and I love it much more than my Mad Monster Castle.
One warning, if you are thinking of tracking down one for yourself and customizing it, you must know upfront: It is HUGE. It is big enough for all of your AHI monsters to play in, and still invite over the Tomlands and the Lincolns.
I watch all custom toy postings religiously, and I say without hesitation that this is the best customized diorama I have seen in some time. I am working on my own version of it right now. Ed, (who is not a member here, but should be), said he can be reached at email edgaar(*at*)verizon.net if you want to ask any question or drop him a line. Please do, if you can. Support our fellow monster buddies from other arenas.
Without further to do, here are the pics--Matt

This Creature is meant to be generic looking and fit in with the Mego Mad Monsters

Hope you enjoyed the pics. Edgaar deserves a nice show of applause for a true monster kid project. Many customs display a lot of skill, but this one displays a lot of heart. Bravo.
Beast witches,
Matt
Bravo, a spectacular display!
Looks great, love the castle, and also that Creature is very neat. I like the generic look a lot
Very nice work! I'd like to see the Phantom up close. Looks like an Aurora model head?
Love that custom castle!
That Creature head looks like the monster from the movie ZAAT aka THE BLOOD WATERS OF DR. Z.

That is amazing what someone can do with a Disney Castle. Wow. I wish I could paint that good, I would be turning out all kinds of stuff from other toys. Good job.
Beautiful stuff! Thank you for sharing.
