I haven't been to Monster Bash since 2008, but my wife and I are making the return trip from Atlanta this year! How is the new hotel? I was shocked when I saw that it had moved from Butler to Mars.

Also, just curious, but why did it move?

Sleepy,
The new hotel is great.  Bash moved because they needed a bigger venue for the people and especially the vendors.

I think about going the last few years but just not enough vacation time. -sigh- Someday, maybe. It looks like fun!

The summer schedule has been posted. Check it out here:

http://www.monsterbashnews.com/schedule.html (http://www.monsterbashnews.com/schedule.html)

Looking forward to hearing from Kris Yeaworth and Victoria Price. Liesl Erhardt might also be interesting. It looks like she's a genuine contemporary Monster Kid who loves the classics (and she looks kind of spooky in that photo of her with Carla Laemmle!).

Seen all the films (except for Road to Mandalay)but it's always fun watching them again in a "theatre" setting with a room full of fans. especially looking forward to the midnight showing of Robot vs the Aztec Mummy-it's the only time to watch a film like that!!

Really wanted to go - but looks like I won't be able to make it this summer.

I'll be thinking about the great show while I get my radiation treatments.

Best of luck with those treatments godwinshelley. There's still the October Bash if you can make that, or next summer should be the 20th June Bash!

Less than 2 months until the June Bash! Can't believe it's so close already!

So - who is still looking for a room at the main Monster Bash hotel?  I have a room I might be able to cut loose for you.

Got my tickets confirmation, room reservations and even my Outback Steakhouse gift certificate. (It's nearby and it's a personal tradition). Ready to roll. Wish it was this week!

Less than 2 weeks to go until Bash! Woot!

Looks like Kyra Schon has just been added-it'll be nice talking to her again this year!

This is going to be awesome AGAIN!

Bash will have a Chris Lee tribute Saturday at midnight. I'm sure it will be moving and appropriate.

Just nabbed a room in the conference hotel!!  See you all at Monster Bash this Fri-Sun.  Friday I'll have my Universal Monster Army shirt on, as per my own personal Bash tradition.

Max TDSH went and posted some pix on Facebook. Maybe someone can light a fire under his head and rouse him long enough to post some pix here? Joe DeMuro from Wolfbain Prods. went, and dressed up as the Glenn Strange Frankenstein's Monster (make-up by Ron Chamberlain). Ron Chaney dressed up as Kharis. Joe said DVDs of "Tales of Dracula" completely sold out! So, things are looking good for "Tales of Dracula II: Dracula vs. The Wolf Man."

Bash was a great time, as always. It's the kind of place where a classic monster kid can fit in and not be judged on their taste in movies and TV. Plus, "live" monsters wandering around-how could you go wrong?
