Got this DVD set around Halloween and have watched the first 4 episodes so far.
I barely recall this from when I was a kid but definitely remember the android REM (though I couldn't recall his name till I watched DVD).
As often happens the memories are better than the real thing. It's total 70s cheese, but still rather fun to watch. Now that football is winding down I hope to finish out the series.
Any thoughts on this short-lived series?

I remember watching the series but not much more than that. My clearest memory is from the movie, when it won an Oscar for it's cheesy and rather amateurish special effects (even for the 70's the model work was pretty bad. I remember thinking that Metropolis had better model work decades earlier).
Like you said, now it's 70's cheese, and based on that I'm sure it would be entertaining watching it again.
I watched it back then & enjoyed the continuation of the original story & the different civilizations they met ouside of the dome
I have no recollection of this, perhaps it wasn't broadcast in Canada? :'(
No.
But, this divine assemblage of hair and teeth is the main attraction in the rather lackluster movie.

For me Jenny Agutter was the main attraction in the film.

It's been along time since I've seen it and I didn't even remember Farrah was in it but I remember Jenny.

Jenny was good eye candy as well, and she had a much bigger part than Farrah, but I prefer her in
An American Werewolf In London (1981)

I agree, buddy. Check Jenny out in "Equus" (full frontal).
