Title: Twilight Zone Marathon
Post by: Wicked Lester on December 31, 2014, 03:12:03 PM
Anybody watching or planning on watching the 2 day TZ marathon on SYFY? All day today and tomorrow. Some of my fave episodes are all in a row starting at 7:30 pm eastern time.

The Twilight Zone Marathon is a must.

I want to add, though, that I have the Honeymooners Marathon on WPIX right now----and I noticed something I had never remembered seeing:  in the episode where Ralph goes to the novelty store to get gag items for the Raccoon Convention in Minneapolis, one of the gags is a frankenstein monster mask!  Very cool.  Never noticed it before.

Love the Zone , along with the Outer Limits , Thriller and Night Gallery it goes into the history books as a top show of it's type.

I'd be watching it too but sadly none of the channels I receive are running it as a marithon , we don't have cable or Satillite but pick up around 60 -70 channels via OTA antenna , am watching an Odd Couple marithon right now

Though not horror they did have a couple of Fantasy episodes , A Christmas Carol parady where Oscar was Ebeneezer Madison haunted by a Ghost (Felix ) A haunted air conditioner episode with Monster favorite Victor Buono as an exorcist, and a few others ,

" Feel and Osk" were great

I bought all my favorite episodes from amazon for $2 ea.  I can watch uncut comm. free marathons and not have to sit through episodes like "Mr. Dingle The Strong".  ;D

Thanks for posting this. I recorded 5-6 episodes last night. But I had to watch "The Dummy" in real time. To this day I'm convinced if you have a ventriloquist dummy, it will come to life at some point and try to kill you. It's basically a proven fact.

I've seen it happen over and over! That's why I'm the only dummy in this house, brother!

One of my favorite episodes was Twenty-Two. It still gives me the creeps when I watch it.

Normally, I hate the look of those video taped episodes, but in this case, it seems to make the episode that much creepier!

Today (May 11, 2015) is National Twilight Zone Day - but no marathon in any of my TV listings.

Guess I'll be watching my DVD set of the original series.

Yeah me too. I love marathons - and would normally watch a Twilight Zone Marathon on a channel like Sci-Fi or something like that. That was until I purchased the 12 inch laserdiscs, VHS video cassettes, and -- now -- the DVDs! I like my own marathons better. No commercials. No episodes cut. And the best part of all is that I can look at whichever episodes I want to. I don't have to be PROGRAMMED by somebody else! Thank God for Home Video.
