Tonight at 9pm! Can't wait to see how they escape from the train car and kick some ass!
I'm with you monster brother! been waiting patiently to see how this predicament turns out.
Watching the last episode of last season. this show rocks!
Absolutely outstanding premier!

If you're watching the show later on ON DEMAND, you might not want to hang around here!
Awesome episode, tonight! Although those guys were just a little too close to getting their throats cut! What was there plan, if Carol hadn't have come along? I know Rick had his big splinter, but I don't know if he would have had time to cut himself free, if it hadn't been for Carol's distraction?

I thought that Glenn might have been killed right off the bat. I have a feeling that at least one major cast member is going to be eliminated this season.

They've done it every season so far, so there's no reason to believe they'll stop now!
This episode kicked more ass than the entire last season! Glad to have it back.
Well damn! Who else missed the post credit scene!?
As far as their plan of escape, I think it was all just a wing and a prayer, which if not for Carol they would all be on the bar-b-q pit already!

I guess when Rick said "They don't know who they're dealing with." he was referring to Carol.

Excellent 2nd episode with great, disturbing ending (great barbeque ideas). I'm really liking season 5, so far.

Excellent 2nd episode
I think we all knew we'd see some of the Terminus people again. Didn't think they would gnaw off the leg of one of Rick's group, though! Guess the writers had some left over one legged plot points they wanted to use.

Terminus wasn't in the comics; the cannibals don't come to light until the group is being stalked at the church and it is actually Dale (who is still alive at this point in the comic) that is kidnapped and loses a leg. The whole cannibal incident is only 3 or 4 pages in the comic.

I haven't read the comics, but I heard there is a lot differences between the two. Any body else that's dead on the show but still alive in the comics, or vise versa?
TALKING POINTS
Terminus terminated, with extreme prejudice! Rick and some of the others really went to town on the "Who's for lunch?" crowd!
What do you think of Maggie and Glenn leaving the main group? Are we going to get parallel storylines till they all get together again?
R.I.P. Bob.
Who was with Daryl at the end of the show?

I think we will get parallel story lines (which may become annoying) and I'm pretty sure we are seeing the return of Beth.

We had, at least, 4 parallel story lines all last season, so it won't be anything new.
Beth will be in next weeks show, but in what form, I don't know. She might be the one in the bushes with Daryl? :)

That's what I was thinking.
I didn't like the fact that Rick & co. went hack attack crazy on the Terminites. Since they consumed tainted meat I would have rather have them get way and see how that played out. Would they turn? And if they did would they become like the rest of the zombies or something different. They could have lasted another couple of shows anyway.

Yeah, that's why it was my least favorite season. So far, this season's off to a spectacular start.

If they didn't, they'd go on eating people. I'm sure that's what Rick was thinking.

Yeah, it went on a little too long.

It has been established that all survivors carry the zombie virus, it only becomes active once you die. People aren't really turning into zombies due to being bitten (so eating "tainted" meat is kind of a misnomer), they die from infection (due to parasites/germs that one would find on a rotting corpse) or lose of blood. That's why you can chop off an appendage (like Herschell's leg) and escape turning. I really think that if they had enough antibiotics that Bob could have been saved (again they had a surplus when Herschell was amputated), he didn't lose that much blood and the bitr really wasn't that bad.
Good points, ZH. I hadn't really thought about that.
I don't believe they're going to kill off another regular, tonight!! They just killed off Bob! It had better be the priest!

They've been hinting at it a bit. My MSN homepage has a big write-up on classic series that kill off main characters (mentioning tonight's episode MIGHT be one).
Son of a bitch!! :'(
Norman Reedus reported that he cried for a good hour after filming the mid-season finale....I don't think this episode is going to end well for at least one character.

More than one, but I don't care about the others.

True but the people from Terminus didn't know that. There would have been a lot of psychological things going on here and perhaps the members would have gotten paranoid and turned on each other. The writers should have played that option for at least an episode or two.
My reply was specific to you asking if they would have turned (into zombies or something different), not how it would have affected them believing so on a psychological level.
