Gene Simmons, Bass player of the legendary rock group KISS has been around for 40 yrs. His ghoulish vampire character and makeup has been labled as THE DEMON. With all the various costumes he has worn, i think seeing his Demon character in a comicbook or as a collectible figure would be cool. I have several ideas of how a figure of each of his past costumes would look like. And posibly several figures in monsterous settings, not the usual rock star stage pose.
This special figure could be the start of a character all it's own. Concentrating on the theme as a demon / superhero character. Iam thinking of the same theme as the SPAWN character. The Demon lives by night.
TheWolfman, nice topic starter. Although there are not many KISS fans here at the UMA. Myself being a KISS fanatic, would love to see the Gene Simmons , DEMON character, in many different styled figures. Especially a Dynasty costume. Over the years I have seen many KISS fans make/sculpt their own unique KISS figures. Mr. Simmons
happens to be my favorite KISS member. So anything DEMON would be awesome. Btw....did you ever see the FUNKO
vinyl invader Gene Simmons Shotgun Warrior-esque robot?
Hi Mars, iam a long time fan of the Gene Simmons vampire character too. I think if Gene was approached by the right manufactor, his Demon character could begin a new comicbook hero , and in the toy figure dept. Just seeing him in one of his famous costumes standing there holding a AXE with blood dripping off it.
Wow! This topic has been read 34 times, and no other response. But if you posted anything about the Stones or the overrated Beatles......there would tons of comments. Goes to show people still listen with their eyes, when it comes to KISS' music. My response: **** the Beatles. Yes, I said it.
I like his Destroyer costume the best. The Demon. The Bat-Lizard.
Gene might like your merchandise idea, after all, he sells TONS of merchandise over the yrs.
Several bands have discovered they can often make tons of more $$$ at their shows from t-shirt sales and lots of other merch.
Let Gene know!!!

Tee hee! >:D >:D >:D
'Found an online pic of what my 12" Gene 2004 action figure looks like.
He is often standing on top of my amps.
'Obvious monster setting possibilities. He would probably make horror movies if he wasn't wealthy enough already.
So I agree a series of non-rockstar Gene Demon characters would be enjoyed as a comic and a collectible statue.

I am a KISS fan and thanks to me a friend of mine is a KISS fan and a giant collector. His collection rivals my Universal collection. There has been a lot of Demon figures but I am not sure if a Gene Simmons without makeup would be a big seller. I think he is giving a action figure of himself without makeup with his Vault Collection box. It's cool but would speak to a specific collector.
