There are lots of videos online about this place. The Island was devoted to a dead girl that was found by a man and right after he found her, a doll floated by. He was found dead one day in the same area he found the dead girl. People passing by on boats claim to have heard voices beckoning them & some claim they have seen doll eyes or arms moving. The Island has been around for a long time before it was found & now it's a big tourist attraction. Did the guy who lived on the island kill the girl? Why such a major obsession of hanging up lots of dolls?
If you're a Destination Truth fan you should check out Season 3 - Episode 2. Josh and his crew spend the night on the island. Very creepy stuff.

That was a fun episode. The Destination Truth team is the Best In The World At Almost Finding Monsters. Now if only cutey Jael would return to be a regular.
I was okay until I saw the picture with the disembodied doll head.....Spooky stuff! I would never open my eyes if I were floating by on a boat. There was a news story this past Halloween, about a lady that used broken & bloodied dolls in front of her house in a creepy display. Apparently someone complained to the police and neighbors were super angry and wanted it removed. I am not sure what happened, but people said that it looked like tortured children or something. (I know.....way to tell a story,Charlotte) hahahaha!
I guess dolls are taboo in Halloween displays.....it may lead to a whole neighborhood of creepy dolls....Oooooooo!
I'm happy the 3 of you enjoyed this topic.
I prefer not to travel a lot, so I will probably never visit that island.
It's a unique story and I happy my wife found it for us.
'Happy there are plenty of videos online to visit the island. :)
Creepy ass photos! Pardon my French but...brrrrrr! Yarg! There's gotta be a photo on the internet of a family visiting this island and standing amongst this horror with big smiles for the camera.
Kinda reminds me of this little ditty I found a few years back. http://www.thetwistedbeanstalknursery.com/ (http://www.thetwistedbeanstalknursery.com/)
