Title: Miniature horror/torture diorama(Skylon Tower,Niagara Falls 70'-74ish)
Post by: Dr.Cyclops on January 03, 2014, 02:35:13 PM
Does anyone have any recollection of a miniature horror display at the base/basement  of the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls, Ontario circa 1970-74?
It was a very terrifyingly realistic version of various torture devices in operation(A la the Aurora Monster Scenes, but a thousand times as gruesome,In one I seem to recall a woman impaled through her private part :o)I couldn't believe that little kids were allowed to see it? :o

I could be wrong here, but I think this was some type of Ripley's display.

This has been on my mind all night!
I'm not pro-torture, but I do love a nice torture display

I think what we may be remembering, through the mist of time, is a
display by the famous Animated Display Creators Co

You can read more here about them

Although this talks of the show as travelling, I'm 99% certain there were permanent displays as well eventually.
