Having gotten the "Seven Keys to Baldpate" triple feature that Warner Archives put out in 2012, I was hoping that Universal would do the same with "Secret of the Blue Room" (1933), "The Missing Guest" (1938) and "Murder in the Blue Room" (1944). It seems like a natural for the Universal Vault Series! Anybody else like to see this released?
I'd never heard of these movies so searched IMDB.They seem like a great murder mystery haunted mansion series.Love to see them.Only problem with Warner Archives is that they don't ship to Australia. >:( Whats the quality like on their releases?I'm might do an ebay search for "Seven Keys of Baldplate" triple.
I've never heard of them either but will try to find it on YouTube .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_of_the_Blue_Room (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secret_of_the_Blue_Room) .. I'm a fan of Lionel Atwill, Gloria Stuart and Edward Arnold so it will be a joy just to see them together.
Thanks for the heads up.
I found it on YouTube and will watch it later ... Secret of the Blue Room (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXPfd5B7ylo#)
I have SECRET from Sinister Cinema, however, I would love to see this and MURDER released by Universal in a restored form. MURDER sports a cast of Universal '40's cast players, including Anne Gwynne.

Not a "series", as such. The last two are remakes of the first. They're also Universal, not Warner.

If you like "old dark house" comedies, like "The Cat and the Canary", you might like them.

Just in case anyone thought I was saying these are being released, they're not, as far as I know. Just wishing!
Wasn't the play the movie was based on written by George M. Cohen? I Thought it was a lost movie.

Cohen wrote a play based on Earl Derr Biggers' (Charlie Chan author) novel. The movies are all based on the play. The 1925 silent version of "Seven Keys to Baldpate" is a lost film.

Amazon always carries the Warner Archive DVDs. Can you order from US Amazon?
