H a p p y  Thanksgiving to ALL, from The Batman & his Catwoman.

'Twas awesome to wake up to the savory scents of our slow cooker downstairs.
'Trying a diff combo of desserts this year: blackberry ice cream made with lots of crushed blackberries & a grand carrot cake. ('Love pumpkin pie, but don't need to have it for every holiday).

Hope all my UMA brethren had a great Thanksgiving! We had my Mom and Dad and my sister, brother-in-law and my 2 little nieces (7 and 2years old) over and had a blast! I watched Son of Godzilla with the girls before dinner, than after the feats my Dad and brother in law and I watched Star Trek Into Darkness and The Three Stooges. Everyone loved my basement Monster Room, especially my 7 year old niece Shaylee- she LOVES monsters. King Kong and Godzilla are her favorites but she also likes the Universal gang and was particularly interested to see the various Phantoms and Frankensteins, as she hasn't seen those movies yet.She has a hard cover Movie Monsters book that covers all the classics and has tons of photos, so she knows all the different monsters even if she hasn't seen all the movies yet!I will have to let my sister borrow the Legacy Collections.

Am one stuffed Mad doctor. I've had Turkey, 18th Chocolate biscuits- a recipe I got from the fine folks at Jas Townsend and son. , a semi-homemade pumpkin pie, and German Bleukraut. Also delicious Stuffing, fried apples, mac and cheese, rolls, cranberry sauce, and desserts.
