Hi All,
I am sure many of you have this mask or have seen it a bunch of times. After spending a good amount of time stuffing it, I find it to be a very good mask. Actually one of the favorites in my collection. However, many reviews complain that it does not look like the ad that every company uses to sell it. I have seen some other copies and some of the complaints seem to be very justified. One review said that theirs did not even have the deep scar in the ad pic. Even though I purchased this mask last month. I remember first seeing it about 7 years ago.
On another note, I have put off buying the Karloff Mummy mask for a while now. The pic they use in the ad looks incredible. However, I have seen a couple of pics that are not stock photos and they look poor or mediocre. If anyone has this mask, can you post some pics and your thoughts about it.
Also, here is my copy of the Frankenstein's monster.

Thank you Kidagain. Your mummy mask looks pretty good. I may still order it.

There's still something off about Frankie's mouth. Still a cool mask.
Is this the same mask that I see on eBay all the time? I'm very interested in getting one, but I always worry that the photo doesn't really represent the mask. May I ask where you picked this one up at? I really like it.

Yes, this is the same Frankie mask like the ones that you see advertised everywhere. A few important things I need to mention though. I think that the detail and shape differs from each mask. Also, the mask I have is stuffed to maintain the way the mask was originally molded. I can tell you that I bought this one from The Horror Dome. However, I will not purchase another mask from them. This Frankie mask was shipped to me in box that was 1/4 the size of the mask. It is a large mask they folded up into a little square that was slightly bigger than a soda can. When I first saw the box, I thought this could not possible be it. Sure enough, I opened it up and there it was. I contacted them about this and he suggested taking a hair dryer to it and then stuffing it. I was not going to do that on a brand new mask. For masks, I now order from Halloween Asylum, Halloween Express and Trick or Treat Studios. These masks come in the appropriate size shipping boxes. I will say, that in the end, this is a good copy of the mask.

My wife gifted me a copy of Rubie's Frankenstein, a "Silver Screen" edition.
It came with a foam disk glued inside to keep the head flat and also ensure
a proper fit. That was a nice custom touch >

Since preferring Kharis as a "Mummy monster", I passed on Rubie's Imhotep
although it's a great mask in its own right >
