It's the restored version. I'm watching it now. This was the first silent movie I watched, it was back in 78 or 79. It's been a favorite ever since.

I first saw this at my local public library branch when I was five or six, along with "Nosferatu." In high school, they released the "restored" Georgio Morroder version. I saw that at the Paramount in NYC. I have the newly restored version on DVD, but it's cool that TCM is airing it. If I was home, I'd probably be watching it.
