This may not pertain to television in particular, but I was wanting to ask everyone if they knew of where you could listen to the old radio shows that would broadcast: horror, mystery, sci-fi, detective, etc., as I love these type of radio shows, and I would also love to know if you could list the names of some of these old radio shows. It would be greatly appreciated.
I have got a few anthologies. The Haunting Hour, which are murder mysteries. Lights Out, which are horror stories for the most part. I have the Twilight Zone radio series, this aired on the BBC. I have all these on my iPod that I listen to as I drive around. I also have The Shadow, but have not got it ready to transfer to my iPod yet. I don't know where you can listen to them though.

There are a lot of websites that stream these great shows, 24- 7- 365. You can also download tons of them from iTunes.
Here are a few websites where you can pick some for download or listen online...

I love old- time radio and would actually prefer it to most TV.
There's nothing like "The Theater of the Mind" to be exited & stimulated.
I don't know if anyone has ever heard The CBS Radio Mystery Theater, which was produced during the 1970's- 80's and hosted by E.G. Marshall.
These shows are top- of- the- line productions.
I would recommend "X-Minus One" and "Dimension X", good fun.
Also, search by individual story title. Many classic stories were done by several dramatic serials.
If you have an I Phone, I Pad, or I Pod there are numerous old radio apps available in the apps store. Many of them are free or very cheap (.99 - 1.99). I have Lights Out, a huge anthology of old shows called Radio Horror, X Minus One, Dark Fantasy, Suspense, Superman, Lone Ranger, Green Hornet, etc. Most of the collections contain all of the available broadcasts.
