Title: '60's Monster Paint By Numbers
Post by: Charlie on April 01, 2013, 03:49:48 PM
Had the original 3 from the '60's but lost them in a house fire.
I can't afford to replace them now but I'd be happy with reprint/copies of the box cover images.
Has anyone done this?
HHWolfman, I remember when you scored all 3. Have you considered reproducing the box art images?

Somebody was going to repro the Creature game, but haven't heard from them for a while.

You could always buy the 3 ring binders- same art, at a much cheaper price.

I remember someone was producing copies of the Binders, Bike Buddies, Vue Masters and other stuff. He even had a vintage Corvette that was covered with excellent paintings of the Monster Old Maid card set. (Who was that?) I never bought any of that stuff because I had all the originals. Not recent purchases but actually from my childhood. But again, lost it all in a recent house fire.

Anyway... I'd go for binders (repro or not) but I'd prefer the paintings repros because they don't have the name across the bottom.

Any help with either would be greatly appreciated.

Are you thing of Samjo? That was his eBay name. He was reproducing bike buddies, the horrorscope, and other assorted monster toys for a while.

Yeah, that's the guy.
He hasn't sold anything on eBay in years.
