$20 apiece is a bit pricey. Nice retro look and all, but I'll have to pass.
I love the glasses so much. We really need to have them back as promo pieces, as opposed to collectables priced at $49.99. ;D
20 bucks for 3 and 3/4" figures? That's crazy? I never cared for that scale. It's more for children's Star Wars toys.
Yikes! :o That's a bit steep.
I'm in on all of it, and happily.

I'm a 3 3/4" GIJoe fan, and although I don't buy new Joes anymore, they sell for around $9.99 a piece, as do new 3 3/4" Star Wars figures. Do I think it's too high for the size of the figures? Yes, which is why I don't buy new figures. But, that seems to fall in line with the other lines as far as price, which is around $10.00.

And, if these were around $10-$12, I might get at least two or three. Wouldn't mind having Ripley, Ash, and The Alien. But, at $20, I don't know if I'll even get just The Alien. At that price, they should have better articulation. I know they're going for the retro look, but the prices sure aren't retro!
Am I the only one more interested in the glasses!? I definitely want a set of those!!

They supposed to be coming out with a 19" alien. How much is that going to be?
The glasses are cool...they look like something you'd have gotten at 7-11 with a Slurpee. But $49.99 for four glasses? That's as bad as the $20 mini-figures.

Its $10 for every 3 3/4".
The purpose of this project is to re-create these unreleased toys directly from the 70's prototypes. I am sure it was not an inexpensive endeavor, plus these are licensed as well. This is not a huge company that is going to be able to create the toys as cheaply as Hasbro or whatever. All things considered, I am OK with the price point, and I think that it's pretty cool that someone is making them in the first place.

I agree with this. I would prefer that somebody applied this concept to the Universal Monsters, though. ;)
I mean, I think we would all love to have reissues or designs inspired by the original Monster glasses and the Remco figures.
I would be more interested if it were "It, the Terror from Beyond Space". That was the original Alien after all.

They are cool but i thin i will pass for now.

Not for these.QuoteMost exciting is Super7's series of 3 ¾ inch ALIEN action figures. Faithfully based on the actual 1979 prototypes that never saw production, Super7's "new" figure series retains the vintage looks, articulation, accessories, and, best of all, packaging of the originally planned toys. The series consists of what would have been the entire first wave:
* THE ALIEN ("BIG CHAP") - w/ removable transparent dome, extendable jaws and glowing brain! * RIPLEY - w/ Flame Thrower * ASH - w/ Motion Detector * DALLAS (not on display) - w/ Flame Thrower * KANE IN NOSTROMO SPACESUIT - w/ removable helmet and transparent visor
These are due out this summer priced at a SRP of $19.99 each.
