I have seen many here talk about it, but I have never found it...til today, while searching youtube for movies...
for those who have not seen it and want to...I share with you, what is supposed to be the scariest made for TV movie.
The Woman in Black (1989) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eQ5sFNUg9M#)
Watched this on Youtube a few years ago, thought it was pretty good and I liked the tone of the ending better than the 2012 version! Wish they'd release it on dvd!
I enjoyed the new one, but haven't seen anything as scary as the original in years. I've been looking for DVD copies, but there's some legal mess involved.
Thanks for posting it .. I'll watch it during the week when I have more time ... 8)
Thanks indeed- looks good. Have to watch it at another time.
Thanks for this, Doc! I watched it a few years back on You Tube, but my new moniter is much bigger than my old lame one, so it'll seem like a new experience for me!
Well worth seraching out. The original BBC version, in my humble opinion, is superior to the "Hammer" movie. While the the movie had some good jolt moments it was let don by poor casting of Radcliffe oin the lead role (far too young to be a Victorian father for one thing) and a bullcrap happy after death ending. The BBC version is far more haunting and a little more disturbing.
Thank you for posting this video.
Thanks, Doc! This is cool! I plan on watching it, too. I don't have netflix or anything, so I appreciate the link :)
