Isn't that awesome? I heard about that a while back. Would love to see all the footage. The Toho idea of a wolfman is as 'weird and crazy as their idea of a Frankenstein or Kong.

The existing footage is supposed to be screened this year at G-Fest XX.
Are you kidding me? Wow!!
Can't wait for RedKing to chime in on this one.
Those pictures look amazing. Love that version of the Wolf Man. Hope we get to see this footage sometime soon.
I wish the footage would get released. I found a crummy youtube video that at least gives you an idea of what this movie is like:
Legendary Beast Wolfman vs Godzilla Lost Film (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVx51PbFimU#)
It looks so freaking cool! I love the design for the giant Wolf man and the recreated 1962 Godzilla looks fantastic, one of my favorite Godzilla designs!

Toho denies this film even exists. I doubt they'll ever allow an official release. They stopped it from being completed!
It's a shame Toho doesn't want this released. At the very least, it would make a great bonus feature on a future Godzilla DVD.

Toho rigorously defends their copyrighted kaiju characters these days. If they don't officially recognize this film, then it will never get an official release. And, anyone who releases bootleg copies had best be prepared for visits from the Toho Copyright Ninjas!
When "Mystery Science Theater 3000" did their 1998 Summer Blockbuster Review special, which used promotional footage from electronic press kits to lampoon Summer '98 releases, Toho specifically warned Sci-Fi Channel that if they used any footage from Tri-Star's "Godzilla," they'd get sued! So, in that spirit, I give you...(http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/dancziraky/Godzilla_Wolfman_color_zps170fadae.png)
Yeah Toho is and always has been overly defensive of copyrights, much like Disney. In fact in a funny reversal of fortune in 1993 Disney threatened to sue Toho because Rodan flew over Disneyland Tokyo without permission! Imagine the headlines if that went through-Mickey Mouse vs Godzilla! That was also the year Raymond Burr passed away so unfortunately Godzilla would not have been able to get hid old pal Perry Mason to represent him in court!

Wait, wouldn't it have been either a model or backdrop of Tokyo Disneyworld? I mean, Rodan doesn't exist in real life. It's a puppet or a guy in a suit. So, if they had the puppet fly over a model or a picture, how...?
Never mind.
Yup it was a filmed backdrop that Rodan flew over-Disney did not give permission for the park to be seen in the movie and was ticked about it. Usually Toho asks permission from businesses whose buildings they plan to destroy, and most places are more than happy-it is considered something of an honor to have your building smashed by Godzilla!

Wait a minute, what do you mean Rodan is a guy in a suit or a puppet?
Oh man...first the news about Santa, now Rodan. Next you'll be telling me King Kong isn't real.
Ummm...
