Well,

I feel that it was just all too predictable and this has been done so many times before. I don't know if
Godzilla can be done again like the old Toho Studios did it.

The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies ... I know the film is a piece of crap, but there are shots of a vanished Los Angeles (such as Bunker Hill and Angels flight in it's original location) that I was happy to see.
Student Bodies (1980?)
Monster Mash with Bobby Picket
The Slime People
Waxwork II
The Undead (A Roger Corman film)
The Spawn of Slithis
Scarecrows (1988)
Reptilicus
The Lost Continent
I Come In Peace
Forever Evil
Ferocious Planet
Equinox
The Car
Angry Red Planet
The Alien Factor
And those already mentioned:
Grave of the Vampire

Teenagers from Outer Space. I watch it about once a month. It has a certain charm to it.
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Robot Monster
Blood Feast
Night of Ghouls
Invasion of the Saucermen and Killer Klowns from Outer Space (fun, and far better than All six Star Wars films).
Invasion of the Saucermen is one that I want to get. Aliens that have hypodermic needles in their finger that inject alcohol into people and make them drunk. How can this not be a good movie!!
Maybe we need a word to label those awful movies that are so much fun to watch. Like "Clasick".

Has anyone else here seen the Mexican "Little Red Riding Hood vs The Monsters"?
Yes! There were three films in the Mexican Little Red Riding series, and they were awesome. There was 1960's "La caperucita roja," (http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0053693/) followed by 1961's "Caperucita y sus tres amigos" (http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0055825/) and 1962's "Caperucita y Pulgarcito contra los monstrous". (http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0053694/)
Per Wikipedia: QuoteIn the early 1960s, María Gracia starred as Little Red Riding Hood in a trilogy of Mexican films by director Roberto Rodriguez, which were then re-dubbed in English and released in the United States courtesy of K. Gordon Murray: the so-called "King of the Kiddie Matinee". These films were: La Caperucita roja (Little Red Riding Hood and Her Friends/Little Red Riding Hood and Her Three Friends ; 1961) and Caperucita y Pulgarcito contra los monstruos (Little Red Riding Hood and the Monsters;1962). The latter of these films also starred Cesáreo Quezadas, who reprised his recurring role of Pulgarcito (Tom Thumb).

I really wouldn't consider a good deal of this list as 'bad' science-fiction films. Although, it depends on what the subject actual means: so 'bad' it's good or just really crappy films. If it constitutes the latter, I'd say some of your choices would fit, namely anything late-1990's or post-1999.
Not only that but a lot of those movies are straight slasher flicks and slasher flicks just don't fit the sci-fi category. Nor do a lot of horror films.
???
I would have to disagree. The thread/post clearly states: your favorite BAD Sci-fi (foward slash) Horror films. That being said. Memphremagog's list of titles
in my opinion definitely transcend as BAD Sci-fi/Horror films. The only issue I have is, some of the titles don't fit under the category: Classic Monster Movies( 1900-1970).
Attack from space, atomic rulers of the world, and evil brain from outer space.

I agree. I love cult movies and B movies from the fifties.

Me too! Cult fifties cinema, the best.

I honestly could watch bad cult cinema all day. It is a lot better than todays box office winners.
Amen. I'd watch an Al Adamson or Herschel Gordon Lewis festival any day over (for example) the "new and improved" Dark Shadows or the Evil Dead re-make I just endured.
The Hideous Sun Demon
I had forgotten all about this little gem.

I wouldn't even consider that bad, but that's just me.

I agree. The type of cinema that Adamson, H.G.Lewis, Meyer, Wishman, Hill, Corman and others created, was and is
so super cool and fun to watch. I know many people shake-their-heads, and wonder why I watch these cinematic
masterpieces? My answer: because the films are entertaining. Bottom line.
Todays FILMs are ******g crap!!!! The Twilight series?! Really?! Out of thirty to hundred Horror films that are released
a year, maybe two to three are worth watching.
Wow, put that on my tombstone!

The Hideous Sun Demon -- bad??? How can anyone not love a face like this, one of the great monsters ever:(http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSItSdfd0_kZMrH_Uc043ujb9-nF-6BxKs25DabxPtNU4SevATrGQ)
And for a real laugh checkout "The Revenge of the Sun Demon" where Jay Leno re-dubs the entire original film with hilarious dialogue -- ala Woody Allen's "What's Up Tiger Lily?"(http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/614c2MNZ5KL._SX500_.jpg)

Totally Microwave Massacre. I own a VHS/DVD copy. How about Drive-in Massacre, Satan's Cheerleaders, The
Undertaker and His Pals or Carnival of Blood?
Who says these films are bad? Some film critic? Some hyper-opinionated/self-appointed arbiter of taste? Shouldn't it be enough that you like a film? If so, then why do you need to make excuses/justify your tastes in films?
Sorry if this seems a little "ranty" sounding, but I simply detest the idea of "guilty pleasures."

I think the term "guilty pleasure" is a very appropriate term. There are movies that people do enjoy, myself included, that are not very good. For instance, I am watching a movie right now called The Alien Factor. I'm not sure how many people have seen it, I think it was only in the theatres for about an hour. I read about the movie in Famous Monsters of Filmland and looked for it but it did not come to a theatre near me; I saw it on TV one afternoon. The movie is about an alien who was transporting alien animals to an interplanetary zoo and crashed on Earth. The pilot was killed and the animals were set free to attack the nearby town. Another alien, in human disguise, comes to Earth to capture or kill the animals. The movie has an interesting plot, but about halfway through watching it I decided that this movie needed three things to make it a good movie:
1—A script
2—A director
3—Some actors
I own the movie and watch it every so often. Am I watching a good movie? No, I'm not. Can I convince myself it's not as bad as I think? No, I can't. Is this a movie I think of when I want to talk about good movies? It doesn't even come to mind. Do I enjoy watching it? Yes. Can't explain it, I just do. And if someone raised an eyebrow when I mention I own the movie? I'd shrug, and simply say "For some reason, I like it."
Everyone is guilty of enjoying bad films. Some might watch a movie I absolutely enjoy and some think I am crazy or weird. I have probably watched more bad films than good? That's okay with me. Most Hollywood films
Blow Goats. With the exception of the true classic films.
C'mon now.........some movies are EMPIRICALLY bad in ways that go beyond mere opinion.
This is not just one guy's OPINION of a bad alien costume. IT'S BAD.

This isn't awful dialogue in just opinion..........it IS awful dialogue.
Bela Lugosi - Beware of the dragon! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHkXFsK6UUg#)
These special effects don't just seem bad in one guy's opinion..........they suck.
MST3K Top 5 - Worst Special Effects (aka They just didn't care) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TstfiBwAwBg#ws)
This isn't bad acting based solely on opinion...........it's the pits!
Johnny Mnemonic - The infamous "Room Service" scene (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJmKLzmPMso#)
Opinion isn't the sole arbiter of quality. Some things are self-evidently BAD.
Entertaining s "good" anytime.
Yes, yes. :D

Much thanks for highlighting how some of these can be bad. Apparently we have a few film scholars on here who cant or wont accept that not every film is CASABLANCA or GONE WITH THE WIND. Like it or not, many of these films ARE bad, due to budget, production flaws or just plain inept filmmaking. Many of these are universally accepted as poor or "bad" films by overwhelming majority of film critics, scholars and even the studios themselves, and yes, the public, too. They can still be enjoyed for varying reasons to be sure, however, it still doesnt change what calibre they are because of that.
I guess I will be the one to admit. I NEVER thought Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, or other so-called Oscar worthy films were that special or fantastic. Now that doesn't mean I don't respect film-goers who enjoy those films. I chose
not to watch, and have watched the over-the-top Hollywood production. Honestly, there are far better films than,
Casablanca and Gone with......
If any of the Hollywood films I will watch, it would be: Ben Hur, the Godfather, Planet of the Apes, Sunset Blvd., and any
Universal, WB, Hammer, etc. Those films and studios to me produced some of the finest classic films. Again, just because a film is low-budget, does not mean it is worse than a Hollywood produced film. To the contrary.
"Guilty pleasures"...I feel absolutely no guilt over anything that gives me pleasure. My Catholic days are long behind me.
