I've got this one under way and thought I'd share what I have done so far. I took step by step pics as I've been going along. I've done the exposed flesh and will be moving on to the bandages next.
Thanks for looking;
Lee
First step was to dremel away the excess flashing (of which there was hardly any), washing off any excess mold release with soap & water, then priming

As I was planning my color scheme, I had the idea of adding a little something to set mine apart from others. I laid some hair overtop the sculpted hair for depth and added some mod podge to simulate the fuller's earth that was matting and clumping Karloff's hair. I also added some false eyelashes and trimmed them down. After this pic, it was back for another shot of primer.

Base coat added

2 layers of shading added (at this point it looked awful and I was doubting myself!)

It started looking better after I added the topcoat which was a blend of brown and gray.

The last layer was a drybrush over the top layer of flesh to give it the dried out look.

Nice start!!!!!
"D" ;)
Excellent- Keep up the good work
I like the addition of extra hair for detail. It works for a 1:1 kit. Karloff's hair was pretty much caked down with make up, so you may want to slick down some of the detail on his head with paint. This is really a great start. I also like the idea that you're painting the skin and bandages separately it will make a difference in their coloring stand out even more.
Looking good man... :D
Looks great!
