I so much more prefer this sculpt to the way too stylized Mezco figure. This one has more Karloff, less Kartoon!

I first placed a "pre-order" with Amok Time for this guy on March 21, 2008. At that time the pre-order price was $119.00. Now it is $199.00.
Amok Time has revised their availability time from spring 2013 to fall 2013.
Does anyone think these will ever see the light of day?
I guess we've waited for five years a couple more years (and bucks) wont hurt. No, I don't think these will come out. I'm still waiting for Executive Replica's Karloff Black Cat figure that's been on their website for a couple of years.
They're probably waiting til they get enough pre-orders to make a profit. It's an unfortunate connundrum. A lot of people won't order until they know these are ready to ship! They won't even get made, however, until they have enough orders to at least break even.

It doesn't help that I ordered, waited over two years and then had them cancel all pre-orders with the excuse that they had updated their ordering system. A week later, the item was again available for pre-order with a revised price $50 higher.
Five years after this was announced they are still requesting pre-orders.
Nuts.

I like it but don't think i will ever go for that kinda price tag. Also that's just bad business.
