Ok, this is going back a little, but there are so many beautiful woman (and men!) who have appeared in our favorite movies that every once in a while, there's someone who just "clicks" with you. I'm not talking about desire so much as just being struck with how beautiful you found someone to be.
To me that was always Beth Rogan from Mysterious Island. When she emerged in her little "goatskin" miniskirt, she totally took my breath away. I remember, as a beardless youth, wondering how anyone could be so beautiful!
Who are some of your crushes? ;)
Joey Heatherton, Ann Margaret, Angie Dickinson all come to mind.
Angela Cartwright & Bridget Bardot
I always had a thing for bad girls like Gloria Grahame and Lauren Bacall.
Gloria Grahame has very sexy eyes. She goes back a ways...
Errol Flynn was my first crush .. I saw Robin Hood at a very young age.
Dorothy Provine as "Rocky Shaw" on The Alaskans tv show in '60-'61. Mom & Dad said I would get so embarrassed/turned on, that I would run out of the room when she was onscreen and peek (creepily) around the doorway at her. I was 4 or 5 years old.
Fay Wray, even with all her screaming.
Then, Diana Rigg, Stephanie Powers (big time!) & Barbara Feldon!
Too many to list. But here are a few. :D
Yvonne De Carlo
Linnea Quigley
Erica Gavin
Ann Margret
May West
Mamie Van Doren
Haley Mills was my first star crush. Patty Duke (and her cousin) a close second.
Diana Riggs (those tight leather outfits blew my mind)
Barbara Eden (those sexy eyes)
Goldie Hawn (cute smile, cute face)
And later on, Elvira (for a couple of reasons)
Diana Rigg (although attractive) always came across as a cold fish to me.
Barbara Eden was very sexy even if NBC didn't want her belly button exposed.
Patty Duke, in her 60's today, is still gorgeous.
Fay Wray had the best looking legs ever on screen.
Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) was hot until she sort of out- grew the character.
Yvonne Craig and Lynda Carter ensured I'd be straight. :-)
I always thought Jackilyn Smith was WAY more attractive than Farrah Fawcett. Heck, I liked Cheryl Ladd better than Farrah.
From horror flicks, I had a crush on Heather Langenkamp from Nightmare on Elm Street. I always liked smart brunettes. That's why I married one!
Chris
Elvira
Lilly Munster
Marisa Tomei ( always had a real girl next door feeling to me.)
Jennifer Tilly ( I like that raspy voice)
And the chick from Weird Science
I think I just got a thing for chicks with big jugs for the most part?lol! ;D
My first answer would be Barbara Eden, but since that was already listed ... I'll go with Linda Harrison ("Nova" from Planet of the Apes).
Classic era: Helen Chandler, Jean Rogers, Fay Wray, and Julie Adams.
Modern: Raquel Welch, Ingrid Pitt, Veronica Carlson, and Yutte Stensgaard.
Hell, I knew and worked with the Scream Queens team (Linnea, Brinke Stevens, and Michelle Bauer) in the early '90s. Gotta admit, Brinke was my fave! Debbie Rochon's a cutie, too.
Julie Newmar
Lara Parker
Phyllis Coates
From horror flicks then it's Elsa Lancaster. She had beauty in every form.
Many favorites of mine I see listed here!
I think my faves might be...
Julie Newmar
Diana Rigg
Lara Parker
Elsa Lanchester
Maybe Elsa Lanchester was the fave of faves, she was so stunning in that opening scene of Bride of Frankenstein. A few years back, I saw that projected for the first time on the big screen, and was even more impressed!
Elsa certainly was a beautiful woman.

i forgot Jamie Lee Curtis. ALways thought she was a babe
As A Kid, Carrie Fisher. When I was Older, Tina Turner in the movie "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" Gotta love the chain mail outfit.
Aunt Esther from Sanford & Son. (kidding, kidding). Seriously though, my all-time fav would have to be Jennifer O'Neill from Summer of '42. One of the most beautiful women to walk this earth, IMO. Also had a crush on Karen Valentine from Room 222. Elizabeth Shue in Cocktail was super hot too.
JP
Elizabeth Shue in "Leaving Las Vegas" was smokin'.
Valerie Bertinelli. Used to have a super sized poster of her.
Elizabeth Shue and Bertinelli were both crushes of mine too. And they are still nice looking ladies today!
Chris
Haley Mills -- In Search of the Castaways, Olivia Hussey -- Romeo and Juliet, Margaret Sheridan -- The Thing from Another World, Helena Carter -- Invaders from Mars, and Evelyn Ankers -- The Wolfman, and Julie Adams & her eyebrows -- Creature from the Black Lagoon
As a youngster? Julie Christie, Lara Parker, Kim Novak, Julie Newmar, Diana Rigg. As a teenager, I was nutty for Jessica Harper from Phantom of the Paradise.
Still madly in lust with Diana Rigg as Emma Peel (in black leather catsuit).
Caroline Munro
Jaclyn Smith
Tina Louise(Ginger from Gilligan's Island)
Allison Hayes
Louise Jameson(Leela from Doctor Who)
Cheryl Ladd
Kathryn Leigh Scott(Maggie Evans from Dark Shadows)
Catherine Bach(Daisy on the Dukes Of Hazard)
Interesting how none of the ladies have responded here... I'm curious.
Well, at least, not that we know. ;) ::) :o
Uh huh... I don't check profiles so maybe I posted in haste...
I'm not a male!
Sorry, Flower- I forgot that you had posted
I'm always being forgotten, the story of my stinky life .. SIGH!
Growing up .. all the NYC area channels would run old classic movies all the time ... I also really loved William Powell as the Thin Man, very sauve and owned Asta too!
I didn't forget you, just didn't pay close enough attention to the posters. :)
Elizabeth Montgomery
Barbara Eden
Barbara Feldon
Jaclyn Smith
Definitely Julia Adams...Miss Namikawa from the classic Godzilla films..and the woman who played Fuji on "Ultraman."
Julia Adams, Anne Francis and Yvonne Craig. There were others too, but those 3 I had crushes on before I even knew what that meant.
Julie Adams
(http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u131/CaptainStacy/Rhiannon1090.jpg)
Ah yes, Yvonne Craig in a shiny purple skintight suit with mask...pretty nice. I mean, if you like the type, that is.
No one was cooler than Humphry Bogart .. :)
Bogart was the man- Key Largo, Sahara & Casablanca are among my favorites.

I've done this many times. Our brains do "belch" at certain times when we are busy :)
I googled
Ron Harris (because I couldn't quite place him...) and it's not the
Barney Miller actor, which yours truly should have known. This was Ron
Glass. Glass played a detective in Miller's squad. Great show, by the way ;)
Ron
Harris is a photographer, but there
is also a Ron Harris who is an actor as Pauspy pointed out.

As a young man, as it relates to Horror/Sci Fi flicks, 3 female actresses stand out as ones that I had crushes on.
Julie Adams (Creature from the Black Lagoon), Claudia Barrett (Robot Monster), and Yvonne Romain (Curse of the Werewolf)
A classic star I had a crush on as a kid...Fay Wray.
There were several modern stars I had crushes on...modern as in early 1980s.

Yes, Fay Wray was an absolute beauty in her day. I just saw an 80th anniversary print of Kong, and she looks better than ever! She also is bra-less through most of the first half of the movie. I'm sure the director was aware of this based on some of the outfits she wore on the ship going to Skull Island!
Janet Leigh
John Woodcox
Natalie.Wood
Anna Nicole Smith
Evelyn Ankers and Julia Adams. Got to meet J Adams at the Flashback Weekend Horror Con in Chicago in 04, along w/ Ben Chapman (Creature from Black Lagoon on land). Both were nice as could be and pleased as punch that someone who was less than 30 at the time actually loved classic B&W films. Got photos with each and they signed my Creature dvd insert. Sadly Mr. Chapman died not long after.
One more vote for Evelyn Ankers.
Am I the only one on this or there is elements of truth and authenticity about yesterday's actresses?

I forgot (though I don't know how...) about Susan Oliver.
That's really funny .. as I remember seeing the movie "The Green Eyed Blonde" in my early teens on the Late Show .. really enjoyed the movie.
Susan left us way to soon, Flower. I believe that she was mid- 50's when she died.
She was actually a brilliant and dynamic woman (literally) and was much deeper than many of her colleagues in superficial La- La land.
She eventually got her license to fly planes after overcoming a terrible fear of flying, which was predicated by a bad experience as a passenger on a jumbo jet traveling to Europe.
She also wrote and directed many TV shows during the 1970's- 80's.
I have never seen The Green Eyed Blonde
Green-Eyed Blonde, The - Trailer (1957) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIHuNFFeAUs#)
It was really intense for me as a preteen, sitting up alone watching the Late Show ...
As a little little girl, I liked Leo Gorcey and wanted to be an East Side Kid.
Julie Adams (all time beauty candidate) and Evelyn Ankers. :)
Jerod, you have exquisite taste. You picked the exact same two ladies I did.

Well, as a teenager, I thought the most beautiful ladies I'd ever seen were ANNE FRANCIS and JILL IRELAND*. HONEY WEST was a big thing, then, and we all wanted to be like Honey, and kick A$$. We would even imitate Anne's beauty mark with eyebrow pencil!
Jill Ireland was the first wife of David McCallum, and a popular guest star on MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.
(*Jill's second husband was Charles Bronson) Both ladies inspired a lot to 14 year olds to try streaking their hair with lemon juice!

In the 1970's she lived in my friend's apartment building in Manhattan and I'm told that she was always with women in the lobby, Simone never married and died in 2005 at the age of 94.
She was beautiful.
I recall her passing with sorrow.
Ingrid Bergman
Yvette Mimieux
My earliest crushes
Lara Parker!!!
Even as a young tike I could tell she was hot!!!
Julia Adams..simply stunning..first woman in a swimsuit I fell for...and ..is it Yvonne Monlaur? From "Brides of Dracula" (the redhaired beauty)..I've always had a huge crush on her ("Oh!....Ze Toast!..."). Loved Evelyn Ankers, Simone Simon, Kim Novak, Tippi Hendron....to me classica film actress have more sex appeal than todays tarts..my opinion..
I like a healthy mix of classic beauties AND contemporary tarts.

William Powell was so cool as the Thin Man

Hey, Myrna Loy was no slouch, either. I know a few dogs that still have a crush on Asta.
Well, as a kid in the 70s/80s, my crushes would include the likes of Phoebe Cates, Johanne Walley, and Carrie Fisher, but if I were to speculate, Ankers all the way. Ingrid Bergan and Rosalind Russle would up there, too.
Raquel Welch was pretty hot. Take a look at 1 Million BC...oh my. I wanted so much to be a caveman when I saw that.
Angie Dickinson was way sexy in the 70s and 60s, too. Barbara Eden in that Jeanie outfit...yikes. And I thought Donna Reed was beautiful.
;)

Is it weird to have a mild obsession over an actress who would have been old enough to be my great-grandmother? I've been watching mediocre films Ann Savage all week. My wife is getting jealous!

Ah, Hillary Brooke, Jimmy Hunt's spooky controlled mother in "Invaders From Mars". In my collection I have several letters from her to an acquaintance written back in the 70's -- beautiful handwriting. She was also featured with A&C in a number of films and shows.

I can't believe no one mentioned Ursula Andress,THE original Bond girl. When she walked out of the water in Dr. No.........................well, no explanation needed.

Ursula Undress was most beautiful in the Thriller episode, "La Strega".

I thought would mention...
Carol Lynley
and
Suzanne Pleshette
Carol Lynley I would see on TV all the time in the 70's, and, well, I was very impressed.
Suzanne Pleshette I would see in a lot of Disney films with Dean Jones, and I have these vague memories of being 7 years old and wanting to marry Suzanne Pleshette and not fully understanding why...
