ya i love this piece. The box is even cool. i would probally mess it up by playing with it so much though.lol!
That is the holy grail of Godzilla toys from what I have heard from alot of vintage Japanese toy collectors (I love that stuff, but the vintage pieces are WAY out of my price range!! I stick to new stuff or reissues !).

Did it actually sell at auction though? I don't think it did. Usually when something sells at auction it will show the number of bids even if it's only one. It looks more to me like it was a fixed price listing who's duration had ended. I'm not sure if it would show if it ended from duration or due to buy it now. Either way, it's a great piece!
Yes. It sold for $2350.00 plus shipping.

As far as price... this Baragon sold for $2000 without a box.

I've seen more Baragon toys for sale than Godzilla. Even Gigan seems a little more commonly offered for sale. This one is a solid 9.5 in condition, and the box is a 9. Considering the rarity and condition, I do not consider the price to be excessive.
I do not have many Godzilla toys, and not going to start collecting a bunch of them either, but this piece definitely fits. Size and style, it is like the Marx Frankenstein, Mighty Kong, Yeti, and the like. It's really a stunning piece.
I think you got an very rare item in amazing condition and a great price. Matter of fact, I know it because I watch a lot of stuff on the Japanese market. These just don't come up much, much less in this sort of shape. Huge congratulations. Heck, with that Godzilla, get the original Marusan and Bullmark vinyls and the Popy version of the jumbo and you've got the top tier Goji items! Any chance of a video of him in action?
Toy Ranch..you are out of control! Congrats!!

No, no. See the wire going from the brown case to Godzilla? That means he's in TOTAL CONTROL. ;D
HaHa duly noted, I don't have any remote battery ops!

no problem it was a great find and i couldn't afford it so i was hoping someone here would get it.
Toy Ranch --- Nice score! I've seen that Godzilla in a later issue box with a photo of a boy playing with it on the box front and it's not anywhere near as nice as the box you got with that great painting on it. And that's a good price, too.
