Sometime ago my folks gave me a box containing drawings I had done for my adopted grandma from the early to late 70's. They must have gotten them after she had passed away. I really didn't know she had saved all those. The amazing thing is today I was putting that box away when a small pink piece of paper fell out. I had no idea what it was, but picked it up, flipped it over and discovered this:

This is the ticket stub to my very first concert!! I have *no* idea how it got in that box!! I remember seeing Bob Dylan at UD Arena and paying $10 which I thought was outrageous at the time! LOL!! After the show we went in the back near his bus hoping to get a glimpse of him, and we did:

The concert itself was right before he became a Christian, and he had reworked a lot of his songs. Until you heard the lyrics you really had no idea what he was singing!
Ah, memories!
So, I assume the photo was snapped by you, or someone you were with? (I'm kinda slow.)
Mike, I honestly do not remember. I know I went to the show with my then-girlfriend, and she may have taken it. Somewhere I have a professional photo taken from that same show.
Illoman- You are so full of surprises lately! That is an awesome find. Wow- on pink paper! 1978 was an interesting year for concerts. I remember so many big names from the early 70s were just starting to get into arena rock, and they stopped doing intimate shows in small venues. But, BOB DYLAN!! I would have given my right arm to go to that show :) It sounds like you have a lot of the details in your memory....just like it was yesterday. Very Cool find!

Well, it looks like an amateur snap, so since you have it, I imagine that's how you got it.

Charp: one of the benefits from being a controlled hoarder! LOL!!
Mike: It was taken with one of those Instamatic cameras, 110 film if memory serves. Either she took it or I did. We took her camera to several concerts, and I got a cool shot of Ted Nugent with that camera:

Ted saw me point the camera at him and he made that great face! The security folks made a beeline for our area when they saw the flash and I didn't dare take another one. Looking back I wish I had.

Seems like 110s were usually alright. It was 35mm they didn't want people using.

It was either 110 or those 126's. Both were popular back in the day. Neither took very good pictures, though. All our family vacation pictures testify to that!
