With a BIN of $25, I'm very happy with my purchase, as I'm sure all you who have followed my plight trying to obtain this figure can imagine. Now that I have it in person, it was worth the hassle, imo. Its a great looking figure that will look even better next to the rest of my collection.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR COLOR WOLFMAN DST, AT A DECENT PRICE TO BOOT!!!!!!!!!! ededed ededed

I picked this up when it first came out. Then I gave it to my dad thinking: No biggie, I will pick up another. It was hell getting it back. I cannot figure out why. It aint that great. Wolfman always gets the poopy end of the stick when it comes to toys and models. Likenesses always sucK.

8 inch Sideshow Wolfman: check: SUCKS
12 inch Sideshow Wolfman: check: SUCKS
Toy island Wolfman: check: SUCKS
Hasbro 12 inch  Wolfman: check: SUCKS

Even the 1960's stuff amalgamated Universal's Wolfman with Curse of the Werewolf (although I give 60's stuff a pass. Even if it sucked...its cool).

1970's Aurora Monsters of the Movies kit was awesome...and a pretty decent likeness for such a little kit.

The best Wolfman likeness on a "mass" production piece I have seen is Mike Hill's Wolfman pf he did for....yup: SIDESHOW.

Jakks Pacific Wolfman is pretty good.

But I am raving. Back on point: KONG-GRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wolf Man has always seemed like it would be the hardest sculpt to get just right.  Making a hard sculpt of all that hair and trying to get it to look natural must be a bitch.

And the layered 'natural' hair NEVER looks good.  They look like a kid's dirty plush toy.

Gongratulations on tracking down your nice score!

Nice! I'm a little envious, actually.  ;)

Congrats, Blasko, it's time to throw you a party!!! BTW, the Neca Wolfman Headknocker is a great Ray Santoleri sculpt for a very low price ( the B&W one is best). I think the Sideshow 8" is pretty good (better than DST), but Anton is right about the 1/4 scale being the best.

I still need the Creature and Mummy, but they're not hard to find.

I don't know if anything has changed, but my search for the creature at a REASONABLE price was a bit of a challenge.  (If you are referring to the TRU editions of each) I actually just saw a mummy figure on ebay today for like 20.00 I think..but it's gone now.
The only part of my DST collection that I'm currently missing is the Retro Frankenstein figure and the B/W box set

Good for you! The two you're missing are fairly easy finds (at good prices, right now).

Yeah, I'm not worried about getting them. They're easy to find and at good prices. Hopefully I have the same luck I did with Wave 2 when 3 hits, and not my luck with the Wave 1 Wolfman lol
