I wasn't sure if I entered some kind of contest or what but a few weeks ago when I came home from being out of town for work my wife told me I got a letter with Frankenstein on the envelope?! I opened it up and found not only a card but two (2"x3.5") magnets inside!

I know! It's so very rare to be surprised when you're a grown up! hahahahaha! He's a very thoughtful young man and I immediately knew it was him when I saw the NY postmark :) I'm of course talking about G_llfan (in case he wants anonymity) !

Jason Jerde, toy photographer extraordinaire, did a series of photos for Mezco for a pictorial in the new issue of Famous Monsters.
A few magnets with his photos were going to be made as promo items but the legal line got cut off by the printer accidentally and the idea was scrapped.
Of course, all the unapproved magnets were sent to be destroyed, so I have no idea how you ended up with a set.
At any rate, check out the new issue of FM on newsstands this week to see the rest of the pix.
These wonders mysteriously wound up at Castle Scatter as well, due to an unnamed (yet completely awesome) monster buddy!
That artwork is fantastic. I wonder if they've begun any preliminary artwork/pre production on future figures of the same line.
The Creature and then the Mummy are coming in 2013. Each is its own wave.

Wow those are so cool. I can't wait to see more monsters. I hope the line continues long enough to see Bride of Frankenstein, Phantom of the Opera, Invisible Man, Etc.

I also love the plush dolls and Living Dead dolls that are coming soon! Except the Chucky one. But that's because he scares the hell out of me XD
I got a set of the magnets too - thank you! It was very curious there was no note or even "Coming soon..." :) They are on my fridge as I type this. And for a couple weeks actually. The catalog pics are GREAT! And what's with the "Pending approval" on the Mummy, Creature and Frank???????? I APPROVE! Can't wait to add all of them to my collection!
Does anyone know what size the regular figures will be (Mummy, Creech, Frank)?
I belive it is about 9"
I wonder why they are releasing two figures next year, but only one this year.
