This is a good one. It's into a newer edition now with a different cover. Highly recommended.

this is the paperbak or hardcover edition?
This is a large paperback.
If you're a fan of classic sci-fi, you'll want the bible of '50s sci-fi movies.

You know, Mike, I still don't have that. Shame on me. That stuff has been my "bread and butter" for virtually my entire life, so there's little excuse.

Sorry, no digicam. (I gotta get me one of them things!)
Good idea for a thread! I see four books already that entice me.
I'll have to see what I can rustle up downstairs myself.
cl:)
Here's one I'd consider essential.

many thanks for all recomendations, i will add to my collection to my monster books... add more to the list!
Try searching amazon for horror/sci-fi movie books and see if you find something that sounds interesting. There are tons of books on the subject!
Yes Hollywood Gothic is a REALLY interesting book IMO. Personally, I would recommend any classic literature that has been made into a monster movie. Dracula, Frankenstein. Dr. Jekyll &Mr. Hyde, Invisible Man, Werewolf Of Paris, Phantom Of The Opera, etc.
