I was thinking of C-3PO and it spit out Sherlock Holmes. Good thing I didn't ask it to "make me big."
Wow I take that back, I thought of Dracula and it came up with Vlad Tepes...little freaked out, but it's all good.
I'll bet there's a trick to it.
It made 3 wrong guesses, but I kept letting it continue and eventually it got 'Ralph Sampson' after like 40 questions.
It guessed correctly for me ... Gaius Julius Caesar ... 8)
I have the app of this on my phone. It's really simple, just accessing a database of people, but it's a lot of fun, especially with its variety. It even got Joel Coen.
I was thinking of Captain America and it guessed it on question #13!

That's it. I was explaining this to a friend earlier--once you answer "no" to something it takes a large percentage of a certain answer and removes it from the running. So on and so on until it pinpoints the final answer....still it's pretty damn impressive being that are a gazillion answers for every person that plays.
I played it again and it got me right away with Martin Brody.
I tried to get it to guess Bonomo, it came up with John Wayne, not a bad guess, as Bonomo did his share of western's.
He got Gordon Lightfoot, Leon Russell, Gram Parsons, Lon Chaney Jr, Godzilla, Rodan, Moses, The Devil and an M from M&Ms!
He missed Daniel Roebuck. :(
I found that on the PC about a year ago...it is cool,and sort of amazing . >:D >:D

I tried with Coffin Joe. After three wrong answers, the genie announced I had defeated him. Strangely, the game does have that character in its database, so it should have been able to guess correctly.
Ok that was creepy! I was thinking of Jack the Ripper and it guessed right, holy crap!!

I was addicted to this last year, even guessed Uncle Creepy and the Hanna Barbera stuff. Great....now i feel the need to play again. THANKS GARY (in Bundy kids voice).
