Just found this bad boy, fits perfectly into my collection! I have been looking for a red one, now I just need a blue one ,a green one, and a pink one. One thing I found interesting and personally had never seen or knew about was the price tag on the bottom that calls it "KING KOIN" therfore making it an official king kong bootleg. Anything I had found before speculated that it was, (obviously) but marketed as possibly just a "gorilla" bank to keep from infringment, but still cashing in on the kong market. the tag Made it especially cool to me, plus being the rarer red color. Ebay purchase buy it now for $24.99! it was listed for about 2 minutes before i saw it and pounced! man Ive been lucky lately!

Really cool effect with the reflection of the flame off of the bank. Think you could get one to come out with the overhead off?
Also, thank you Frankenstein73 for the photos. I do enjoy seeing old labels and have never know of an Renzi example like this one. Another kudos to you and your Kongs! ;D
... hes adorableeee... I love him !!! :)
The red is really nice
Here are three good shots of King Koins from the collection of Jayman:

I picked up the 12"er recently. Renzi must not have produced this version for very long. They don't pop up anywhere near as often as the larger black version.

I understand that the large ones are about 17" tall and that the black ones are the most commonly found. The lime green ones are far and away the toughest to find.
