I'm trying to find a high res image of this photo:

If anyone can point me to one on the web I'd really appreciate it.
I hate MJY! Just kidding :D... As far as high res images, I'm not sure. I searched and searched for some awhile back, but no dice. Anxious to see what you have in mind, Mike.

Do you have a new work of art coming out Mike?

BK, that remains to be seen.... ::)
You can put one of those music box chips on it playing "Beautiful Dreamer". Whenever I hear that song, I think of MJY.
Rob
I'm a fan :).....but I don't have a hi-rez image for you, sorry! :(
I've always loved MJY but don't have anything with him ...
By "Hi-res" do you mean 300dpi? Can you convert an existing image using freeware like irfanView?
Big fan of Mr Joesph Young of Africa here.I used to see the triple feature Thanksgiving marathon of Kong, Son nd MJY every year in the early 80s on ch 9 from NYC at my aunt and uncle's. Thanksgiving always puts me in the mood for those 3 movies and Beautiful dreamer also always reminds me of MJY.

Those Thanksgivings are the epitome of "good memories" to me. Football on upstairs and me down stairs in my grandma's rec room watching Joe save the orphanage kids in the epic fire scene! A small black and white TV and the smell of food....good stuff.
I love MJY--and it's ending didn't crush my 10 yr old heart and soul like Son Of Kong did lol.
Unfortunately I do not have the picture you're looking for, Mike. But would everyone like to see the original Mighty Joe Young armature?
Did I hear a yes?
OK, here it is, as presented at Monsterpalooza by the wonderful Bob Burns:

Pauspy, I mainly just need to be able to see the details a bit clearer. I'm not familiar with the software you mentioned.
I haven't seen it since VHS bit the dust but I do like the movie
I Loved the Original !!

Wow-that is awesome, thank God for Bob Burns perserving these treasures.
Always loved MJY! Grew up seeing him on TV all the time.
Okay, if you haven't seen this get ready for another nerd-gasm- Bob Burns armature brought to life for a second time. Special guest appearance by Kong.
This is really great!

thats great stuff, nerd-gasm you bet it is!!!
just a thought did ray give bob the mjy armature just wondering how he got to own it.
Always been a big fan of MJY. No luck on the high rez picture though, sorry. One reason I liked this film so much over others was a happy ending. Poor Son of Kong never had a chance and he was a lovable palooka.

Yes, it really was! Love seeing stuff like that.
Cool clip, Monolith - I still get chills when Joe makes his appearance on stage.
