He was one of EC Comics' outstanding talents, and a true horror comics artist.

I have all the E.C reprints and have been a fan for years, it's always sad when a person passes but don't forget that the gang are getting together in the great beyond (Heh heh in an E.C tone). R.I.P Jack.
First Will Elder and now Jack... The classic EC horror comics paved the road that led to the monster craze of the 60's. Between MAD and all the assorted EC horror/Sci Fi titles, these great artists left an indelible impression on me while growing up. Jack may be gone, but he'll certainly never be forgotten.
Right you are, Gasport. Elder and Kamen--their drawings populated my childhood imagination with a thousand faces and forms. The Afterworld is welcoming another of EC's shining stars...
This is very sad news. I loved his work for EC.
I shared a birthday with him (36 years later). Can only wish that I shared his talent.
