Which two Famous Monsters Buttons do you like the best?

I  voted for Dracula and Wolfman

That card is for the smaller vending machine buttons.  Which beleive it or not I like better than the large color buttons.

Mummy and Frankie for me !

I voted for Dracula and phantom.  Am I the only one who thinks "phantom" looks something like Horror host Zachery?

I have the whole set of the large buttons, so it's a 6-way tie for me. But if I had to pick one, I'd go with the Phantom.

  Frankenstein, then the Phantom.  The Creature seems a little off to me.

I chose the Phantom, it is just plain bada$$. And second choice Dracula, the pose and font just did it for me.

Phantom does it for me. Unforgettable image.

I love them all , but I think I like the Phantom most , I like the Wolfman also cuz he looks like he is posing for a pic, and that is just redonculous!

Also, since there are 2 versions of the large buttons, which version are we voting on?

The multi-coloured ones on the outside edges of the display that you posted above are the buttons on which we're voting.

But is that an actual vintage store display you've posted? Were the Fanous Monsters buttons sold in convenience stores and five-and-dime stores as well as mail order through Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine?

Strictly a vending machine insert card, for the tin litho B&W w/ color backround buttons straight under the card.

Are there any markings on the Famous Monsters Fan Club Button, the one with The Phantom on it?
I just picked one up and I don't see any Copyright or date like my Elwar buttons.

Well, It's all good. I think my least favorite is Dracula. Those contrived fangs are a bit much (of course The Creech also has some contrived choppers). I few years ago I snagged a set of the smaller buttons. And I had a shot at the big Phantom button at a toy show. 75 bucks. Had to pass on it.  :(
I think the Creech (even with the teeth) is my fave on the large ones, with The Wolfman a close second. I usually default to Frankenstein on just about everything.  :o

I like The Mimmy and Creature the best , though the Phantom ties with the Creature on the creep-o-meter

If you're talking about the TOPPS "Batty Buttons" (Creature "Get Lost", etc.), they were sold just like trading cards, in an envelope (like a "wax pack") from a counter box.
