It is time for me to say goodbye to the UMA. You guys are a great group and I have really enjoyed being a part of it. Thank you all for the good times and best wishes to everyone.
Nicole
Nicole,
So sorry to see you VAMOOSE!
Was it something I said?
Aw, Nicole--we hardly knew ye! I'm sorry to see your Coffin-Joe-lovin' self moving out--but keep the UMA in mind and come back whenever you feel like it.
Dear Nicole. I'm afraid it's not that easy. You see, once you've served in an elite army like this, you just can't pack it up and call it a day. You know too much. We cannot have you living a civilian life while carrying around secret intelligence that could jeopardize the safety of the general public as well as yourself. Once a soldier in the UMA, always a soldier. There is no escape or reprieve of report. The only excused absence is an eternal one. Please come back. I do not want to have to send out the army militia. These search and rescue missions can become very messy if you know what I mean.
Allow me to put it in words that you might better understand ...
At midnight I will possess your soul if you don't get back in line where you belong! And that's an order. Nobody gets out alive!
Standing by and awaiting your orders concerning our AWOL member,General.

Thank you Avenger for your quick attention. Your dedication to this army is reflected in your readiness to serve. At ease soldier. Let's wait this out until dusk and see if our wayward soldier returns to her post. If not, I will put together a reconnaissance mission with the intent to capture the convict.

That's exactly what I mean Bob. ;)
Thanks for a drawing a picture!
Standing at the ready,General.
Sorry you feel the need to leave, Nicole. I know there have been weeks, even months, when I just didn't have the time or energy to keep up with this group, but like any other family, you can always come home and be welcomed with open arms and dangerouses.
I'm happy to report that our missing soldier was found posting at another thread. I do hope that she has reconsidered her hasty decision. She will continue to see the light of another day for now.

I wanted to post last night, to give my best wishes to Andy and his family before I left.
I said I was leaving, and I am a woman of my word. This is my very last post at the UMA.
Dear NICOLE,
... GOD Bless you, EVERNOW, wherever Life carries you. I shall cherish our camaraderie, at WONDERFEST! I will never forget you. PEACE!

And so it is Nicole. Dead men tell no tales.
Seriously though, God bless you, and thanks for the good times. We'll still be here should you get lost and wish to come home. You'll always be welcome back with open arms.
Exanimo evernow, or whatever it is the Barron says. ;D
Take care,Nicole. And may I echo the sentiments already stated. There is always a place

Is Raymond Castile really John Oates in disguise? You mean John Oates is a monster kid? He's in this army? Raymond Castile is just a pseudonym? And what of Coffin Ray? I don't know what to believe anymore. :-\

Does anyone know WHY Nicole left? I'm confused by her departure. Sad, as she was a frequent contributor and made the UMA a better place.

* OMG! {Oily Morning Gruel!... Made with JOHN OATES!}
... It's Raymond Castile .. feeling his Oates?! Which he found, in the Commode?!
... I mean, the John Oates .. huh? Or, were they stuck, to the Commode-doors?
... Was John Oates a member of THE COMMODORES?
* Is Raymond Castile really John Oates in disguise?
-------------------------------------------------------
... Of course, unless, he's not, in which case, he's Nicole!
... That's, why, they are never seen, in the same place, twice... nor, obscene, in the same place, once!
* You mean John Oates is a monster kid? He's in this army?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
TERRY,
... You're just the General, you cannot be expected to know every recruit, by name... even, if he was one, of the top-selling musical acts, of the late 70's - mid 80's. Yes, he's in this army. Isn't everyone?! Have you forgotten your own decree, which inducted the entire Human Race, into the UMA?
* Raymond Castile is just a pseudonym?
--------------------------------------------
... Yes; well, not, strictly speaking... actually, RAY is just a mild hallucination... sort of a TWILIGHT ZONE moment. Don't worry, though, it probably won't even require medication... although, Flash-Backs are a distinct possibility... so, if you're man, enough, is Flash-Dance.
* And what of Coffin Ray?
----------------------------
... Somebody gave him a coff-drop & it stopped his COFFIN! Now, he's a RAY OF SUNSHINE, and, has evapourated, into the Ethers...Or, BRAZIL {Where the nuts come from}, whichever is closer.
* I don't know what to believe anymore. :-\
---------------------------------------------------
... Believe me, I do, and, for a small fortune, I can have TOM CRUISE set you on the right course, to realizing your Deeper Self!
EXANIMO EVERNOW,
DARYL HALL... er, I mean, BARON TIMOTHEUS, B.G.G.
THIS NIGHT I WILL POSSESS YOUR POST! HAHAHAHAH!!!!
Terry, it was indeed my expectations for a certain individual: myself. I didn't feel like I was contributing anything valuable to the group, other than the ocassional Coffin Joe fanfare, and I felt bad about that. But then I realized something. Who else out there is going to represent female CJ fans here at the UMA? Do you think I can really entrust that title to anyone else? Não!
And so I'm afraid I have to go back on my vow to leave. I may not be a true "monster kid" but I am here to stay. You will all just have to find some way to deal with that.
Oh, and as for my feelings towards John Oates... I like some of his music, but I'm afraid he's just not my type. Sorry!
DEAR SISTER NICOLE,
... BRAVO! Welcome back! Glad, to see, that, your deductive reasoning has won out, in the end!
... TERRY was WRIGHT - both, WILBUR & ORVILLE {Geeeeee, Horse AND Popcorn-Maker}... none, of us, can forsake our addiction!
... I'm certain, that, in Celebration, & keeping with this thread's loony twists & turns, that, he's down the HALL, feeling his OATES, right now! Mayhap, RAYMOND, who does not exist, is, too!
... Hmmm, does this sound blatantly obscene, to you, or, what?!
... Anyway, You would have been missed, &, now, you won't be... I guess you'll just have to settle for being LOVED, instead.... Proof, again, that Life ain't fair! ;^}
EXANIMO EVERNOW,
PTERADRACTDARYL HALL... er, I mean, TIMMY & THE BARON, B.G.G.
Thank you, Baron, for the kind words and disturbing mental pictures. I would call for a group hug, but with all these people standing around feeling their OATES, I think I'll HALL off to the other side of the room and address you all from there, instead.
But pay attention now, because I'm only going to say this once. To everyone at the UMA:
I love you guys!
Okay. Well, just as long as the oates people don't stand so close to me, or else I will have to call the police. :D
From one true monster kid to another, Nicole, I'm glad you're back.
Welcome back,Nicole.I,for one am glad you changed your mind.
If the General had ordered us to go after you for going AWOL things could have got ugly.
You may have tarred and feathered us all !!!!

Nicole I'm sure you must have contributed something as you have over 900 posts. lol ;D Sometimes I don't feel I contribute much either, besides a few smart a$$ remarks, but I'm not going anywhere!!! We are kind of like a charity, every contribution counts! Welcome back!

Dear Nicole. I am so happy that you've decided to stick around! I truly mean that. I'm sorry if I was starting to sound a bit sour in my earlier post, but you and I have had a lot of fun together at this group. Your posts have always been colorful and full of wit. And guess what? Our fun was never contingent upon any dumb toy. The toy wasn't necessary. In fact, a knowledge, or collection, of toys isn't necessary at all to be a part of this group. What is necessary is
heart. And you have a ton of that Nicole! And it's heart that defines a Monster Kid.
As evident in the number of posts here at this thread, your membership here is valued and appreciated! Your extremely witty and full of charm! And I've always enjoyed reading your posts a great deal. Thanks again Nicole for sticking with the pack. You've made my day. :)
Nicole~
I've not met you in person but still feel I know you (from all your posts here at the UMA)
As to your C.J. fanfare...your 'Coffin Joe' comments and updates ARE very important! I'm not 100% sure who Coffin Joe is or what he does (I know Raymond looks very cool and evil portraying him!) so updates, comments, and information are most welcome (from you, Raymond and others!)
As I've stated, I think you DO make the UMA a better place and am very happy you are staying :D
Best,
Richard

Don't stand, don't stand so

Nicole, this group is much richer for your presence. I am glad you have decided to stay. Talking about Coffin Joe all the time is no worse than talking constantly about AHIs, 4E or Hawthorne Village. It is all welcome here. It is because I say so.

Hawthorne Village. :D No offense, but what is it about Hawthorne Village that keeps people talking so much? I've never quite understood that. Better yet, what keeps them buying the stuff? Oh yeah .. it's called a subscription plan. ;)
There are a lot of folks here who aren't monster toy collectors. I enjoy reading your posts Nicole, and am glad you are going to stay here.
Confidentially speaking, my biggest collection is dust--it gently coats the place beneath. But pride of place goes to all the various & assorted friends I've collected since joining the ranks of the UMA--for the most part they make me larff(the remaining part we shan't discuss).
As some feller named Shakespeare once said "God give wisdom to those that have it; and those that be Fools, let them use their talents." or, as my Uncle Jim used to say "Remember, no matter where you go--you'll always be there."
Glad you decided to stay, Nicole.

Dear Meek,
I tend to live my life according to that great philosopher and wise sage, William Claude Dukenfield, who gave me easy-to-follow directions:
"Never mind where I told you to stand- You stand where I tell you!"Things tend to work out as long as I don't deviate too far from this principle.
Best,
Richard

Hawthorne Village- sounds like the place to be!...
"Hawthorne Village has been the best selling community in the Greater Toronto Area for the last 5 years. Over 6500 families already call Hawthorne Village home." http://www.mattamyhomes.com/communities/hawthorne/
"The homes are not lined up single file down the street, rather their placement is staggered on the lots to create a more interesting streetscape"Ygor to the Monster:
"We... go pillage the interesting and staggered streetscape,
eh? "
(this in no way reflects badly on our fine Canadian neighbors to the north~ who I live so close to that they can reach across the boarder and beat me with a large stick)
Best,
Richard

... So, you won't find a single file, down their streets... probably, all, baked, in cakes, & delivered to the Hawthorn Village Gaol! :D
... As far as staggering goes, mayhap, they built them, that way, as a convenient selling-point, to attract ye local bar crowd. Sort of like the conceptual Pavlovian bell-ringing, as found in product placement: i.e., "easy open tops" & "light beer"... ;)
