Title: Werewolf Images
Post by: Sean on March 25, 2012, 09:19:46 PM
In another thread we were talking about the high school mascot-looking werewolf they unintentionally  made on 'Monster Man'.  This thread is for your favorite looking werewolf images/ costumes/ makeup jobs/ etc.

Ok. I'm kinda veering off here.  I just thought this was cool.

I like wolfmen usually, but I've grown to accept the lycans in Underworld with the wolves heads-----though I still don't like bushy tails and prefer bipedal beasts by a wide margin.

I like this one.. I've always believed Werewolves should be big powerful beasts.

This is a lifesize prop.  I saw it as part of a slideshow and it dwarfed the lady in the pic with it.

Chaney looks awesome as The Wolf Man here - He also looks cool as The Wolf Man in, The House of Frankenstein - http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q9gTdYDKI3U/SxE92BEBRqI/AAAAAAAABYo/gBV2IeR8GZQ/s1600/Wolf+Man.jpg (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_q9gTdYDKI3U/SxE92BEBRqI/AAAAAAAABYo/gBV2IeR8GZQ/s1600/Wolf+Man.jpg)

When I saw this photo the monster kid in me did a somersault! I have always loved this photo of Chaney and have painted it several times. Out of all the classic monsters I took a shine to him the most as a kid. I guess that still resonates with me today.

Yeah and I think it's worth noting the differences in the look of the Wolf Man as these different films came out.  Yes, it's still Lon Chaney Jr., but from 1941 to 1948, he does undergo changes.

The freak in me can look a photo and tell which of the 5 movies it is. 8)

There seems to be an attempt to replicate that pose for the Don Post mask ad.
