Received this bust from George yesterday! I've painted him up and here is the finished piece! I added glass eyes to him which took longer than painting, but still worth the effort! I think for im still choking on all the resin dust! lol I had to drill a big hole into the upper mouth to let me through with the eyes. this worked out ok as the upper teetch and palette were in one piece, so once fitted the hole was hidden!
So what you guys think?
By the way this was the first piece I got from George and I would highly recommend as he was very easy to deal with, sent the item very quickly and the bust was of very high quality and clean, with very little mould lines.
A 1st class quality piece and service!

spencer, he looks really good the glass eyes has made him look even better..
I really dig it! I'm planning to pick up one of these as well. Where did you get your eyes for it...they look perfect!
The eyes I picked up on ebay, I just mixed glass varnish with a little dab of red to fill em in!
Some of your pics are a bit blurry bit the piece looks great.

I'm not a big fan of the sculpt-----it looks too much like Paul Lynde... but you did a wonderful job painting it! 8)

I'm so glad you said that, because I thought I was the only one seeing it!
Also, the fangs appear to be too long, and have an almost tusklike quality to them. But, the painting and glass eyes are fantastic!

2 observations: 1) To me, at 1st glance, while the canines might actually be the proper length relative to the lateral incisors----the lateral incisors appear too long themselves, making the canines appear too long. The sculpt's lateral incisors should be SHORTER, IMO, than the central incisors... but they are of equal length with the central incisors.
2) But then look at how long Lee's canines are in this pic. They're quite long... and LEE'S lateral incisors ARE strangely almost as long as his central incisors (though I think the sculpt mistakenly makes the top line of the 2 different sets of incisors identical).

NONE of this, however, takes away from the tremendous job Dr. Acula did on the paint & eyes.
Lee's Dracula always resembled a maniacal Caesar Romero to me more than a guffaw-ing Paul Lynde.

Caesar Romero would've made an excellent Count Dracula. Suave, cultured, yet still menacing. Someone really missed the ball by never casting him in the role.

The 6'2" Romero would have been great.

He was cast in the role once for a short on Night Gallery

I don't know why he looks so terrified...Linda Purl is pretty easy on the eyes!
DR acula did a great job of painting. but I dotn think the likeness is there. i like Mike Hill's small bust better for likeness.
