Title: "REPTISAURUS"[2008]:Comics To Film!!
Post by: AVERY GUERRA on July 26, 2008, 02:06:58 PM
Here's a really fun looking new film project. It's based on an old short lived Charlton comic book series named "Reptisaurus, The Terrible" that started out [for only the first 2 issues] as an adaption of the 'Reptilicus' movie. It's the directorial debut of Chris Ray, the son of b-movie master Fred Olen Ray. It's a low-budget feature, but has looked better and better as production moves along. It is now in post with 'Voreville' working on the spfx. It should see a release soon enough. Here's a scoop on it with pics:   http://roberthood.net/blog/index.php/2008/02/07/new-reptisaurus/                                                             and here's a newer rendition of the creature in flight:    http://robojapan.blogspot.com/2008/03/cool-new-image-of-reptisaurus.html  and the poster:  http://robojapan.blogspot.com/2008/05/new-reptisaurus-poster-art.html  and official website with trailer:   http://reptisaurus.com/       Cool huh??                                                             8)

Cool, I'll certainly check it out, but I wish the monster was red like in the comic

You can actually own the cgi model used for this as well.. t's the Daz Wyvern at www.daz3d.com The textures used on him look much like the rawart expansion textures created from him at the same store.

(I create 3d poseable and animatable content for them as well.)

My avatar image is actually one of my creations I sell there.
