On Saturday I attended the MSRA "Back to the '50s" car show here in the Twin Cities. It's the 2nd largest show of its kind in the world -- and takes up the entire Minnesota State Fair grounds in St. Paul. More vintage cars than you can possibly see in a day -- thousands of them (literally).
Several of the vendors there had the monster-head gear shift knobs that had been mentioned here previously -- and I got some pics and posted them on my flicker account. I have more -- but have exceeded my account limit for the month -- so will post the close-up shots later and notify you in this thread when I do. Turns out these were produced by Jimmy Flintstone -- and you can order 'em direct here: http://www.jimmyflintstonestudios.com/shifter_knobs.htm (http://www.jimmyflintstonestudios.com/shifter_knobs.htm) $15.00 a pop.
I've known Jimmy for years through the resin model kit hobby -- and I guess he was at the car show -- but I never ran into him. I damn near wore my legs out walking who knows how many miles to see as much of the show as possible --but the scariest thing was the horrendously unhealthy everything fried-on-a-stick fair food I consumed that day. I'm amazed I'm still alive!
You can see my pics of a display of the knobs -- and half the photos I took of the car show here:

I picked up the creature and big bad wolf off ebay for about $25 shipped for the pair, and really like them! I'm tmepted to pick up a ton more, cause I like the sculpting style.
Holy crap, he has a Stretch Monster one. Cool!
Which is the stretch monster?
He just has SO many cool ones. I love the big bad wolf I got, even though I'm a creech fan...
Are there any pictures of these?
