Sad to report the Creepy Classics news page says Norma Eberhardt, star of "Return of Dracula" with Francis Lederer, has passed away. She was an absolute delight at Monster Bash this past June. I am so glad to have been able to tell her I saw "Return of Dracula" on Shock Theater and I hosted the film for a group of "Dark Shadows" fans at the Carey Mansion this past Memorial Day weekend, most of which were amazed at how it must have influenced the creation of "Barnabas Collins."Sleep well Norma.
I met Norma at the Bash as well. A wonderful woman who seemed genuinely delighted that her fans still remembered her and wanted to meet her. As a fan, I'm glad we were able to give her that gift before she passed.
