You only have a window of time to watch only one of your classic horror/science fiction movies and you find yourself staring at all the great titles to choose from but you can't make up your mind and before you know it about 20 minutes of valuable time has gone by.
It seems lately that I rarely get a chance to watch one so when I do get the chance I labor over which one because I know it will be a long time before I get another opportunity to see one.
I ask myself "are you in the mood for 30's Universal, 40's? Or maybe 50's sci-fi or a fabulous B movie. Maybe an "Outer Limits" episode...but which one!
I also ways settle for one I've seen a hundred times...one of the three Creature movies.
One of these days I am going to have a movie marathon but I'd probably spend all day deciding the order in which to watch them.
I've done that plenty of times. My time is limited as well, so I try and not kill my favorites, for example I restrict the '31 Dracula to a few times a year but I watch the hell out of the rest.
Jethro, you perfectly described my exact routine! ;D
If I'm bored on a weekend have the afternoon off I sometimes do spend at least 20 mins looking over my stuff but it also goes beyond just horror. Hmm , what am in the mood for classic monster ,30's crime , 40's B-western. I've changed my mind so many times and can't make up my mind sometimes I just grab a horror ,crime and western comic and go on the patio and read.
I don't really seem to do this. Every so often, if I'm in the mood for a particular film or happen to spot in, I'll rewatch. Otherwise, I've got such a backlog of movies on DVD or VHS that I'm trying to watch for the first time.

Sounds like the story of my life! I also often settle for a tried and true movie, for me either Rocketship XM or When Worlds Collide. Sometimes I give up and just watch some old cartoons
I do this all the time!
Oh yeah, I do this almost every time.
Can you say ...OCD? ::)
Is that NetFlix, or what? I haven't had it happen because I don't have that particular service.
