Very sad and depressingly predictable.
She finally achieved her objective. Sad indeed, but this was a long time in the making. What a waste.

I wasn't a huge fan of hers but did admire her talent. I was sad to hear of her passing. One memory which sticks out is her appearance on The Friday Night porject when she compared the daleks to salt and pepper shakers. She did have a sense of humor.
Addiction is a complex condition and it takes good people from us.
Sad day.
My wife heard the news and exclaimed, "Oh my gosh Amy Winehouse is dead.", to which I replied, "Really does that surprise you?". Yet another wasted talent joining the "27 Club".

Sadly, I had the same reaction.
Sad, but inevitable. She refused all attempts to get clean. I've had addicts in my life, and all of them are in various stages of ending up just like her.
Very, very sad. Again, not surprised but still very saddened by the news. She was a tremendously talented singer.
No big surprise, but what a shameful waste of a really unique God given gift. RIP Amy.
Again, not a surprise .. she turned herself into a train wreck ... Shalom Amy.

Precisely our sentiment. A tragedy, nonetheless.
