We used to play him on my first college radio station, WVCW, VCU back in the late '70s. We loved all the Rhino releases.

I got to hang out with Larry on a handful of occasions, as a friend of mine was close to him. He was a sweet guy. Somewhat tortured but his medicine helped. He was an original, full of fire and humor. :)

I remember listening to him on the old Dr. Demento show on 99x FM on Sunday nights. I fell asleep to that show... made the anxiety of school the next day go away. RIP.
