Hi, first off im a newbie UMA member and this is my first post anywhere ever. so i hope i did it right. I just bought this off ebay and when i received it in the mail i realized the fabric on the right arm of the coat is made of a entirely different colored material. In the photo on ebay i assumed it was the camera flash or lighting in her pic. but it wasnt. i looked closely and the stitching and everything appears to be original and considering the condition of the rest of the figure i dont see that anything has been replaced or repaired. still has the original tie and everything. i am guessing this is a factory error. what do you think? i have been wanting to get this figure for quite some time, and i couldnt be happier to get this particular one. ( i also got a nude fly from the same person and the body color on it is more orange than this one) Let me know what your opinions are on this figure. i have been collecting monster paraphenilia my entire life, but just recently started collecting the tomland line. so any info is greatly appreciated, and if you have any factory screw ups or odd variations feel free to show em off here. Id love to see them. thanks!

The clothes for the fly figure vary in color from a white all the way to the tan color; so it is very possible that they just used what was lying around at that moment.  It could be a factory variation if the stitching matches up.

If the stitching looks consistent with the other sleeve, then it is probably original.  Tomland was like the Ed Wood of toy manufacturers.  What a wacky company.

I'm no Tomland expert, but just based on the photos I agree with Andy and Ray.   If the stitch fits, it must be legit.

Thanks for the input everyone.  I checked the stitching and it is exactly the same as the rest of the jacket. I especially enjoyed the ed wood comparison! Tomland definately has that B movie charm. I am so happy I joined this site it gives me something to do besides scour ebay all day. Long live the UMA.       So say we all.
