In keeping with the trend of creating strange hybrid stories ("Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" and so on), I am submitting a couple of my own ideas which I think should be fleshed out as full-on novels. The first one is "The Lion, the Witch, the Wardrobe, and Cane Toads," in which Aslan the talking Lion, concerned about the beetles consuming his sugarcane plantations, imports a number of neotropical toads into Narnia to eat the beetles and is soon faced with a rapidly multiplying horde of dangerous cane toads.
I also wanted to try another variation combining fantasy elements from two franchises, for example "KISS Meets The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."
Love It!!! Hahaha! I always check the back of my closet, just in case a passage pops up! But I would be more intrigued if the Pevensie kids were faced with a full on plague of killer toads! Count me in! :)
Always good to check. There might be a passage there. And there might be a dangerous Cane Toad in that passage, waiting. I believe they spit a corrosive venom, or something like that.
