Although I like some of the actual shows listed better, for the theme music itself I had to go with Alfred Hitchcocks ' Funeral March Of A Marionette '. That tune creeped me out as a kid. For second place, the theme from Tales From The Crypt.
I picked Night Gallery, but I'm guessing that the images that accompanied the opening were part of the creepiness. When I think of TV themes, Kolchak: The Night Stalker is usually at the top of my list too.

I was an 80's kid. The Tales From The Darkside theme will forever scare the crap out of me.
"Other"........."Kolchak:The Night Stalker" theme is ever and always in my iPod's rotation.
I cant believe I forgot Nightstalker.. *shrugs*

I also think Alfred Hitchcock was my favorite! They went with a masterpiece and it worked :) However, the theme to Barnaby Jones used to creep me out royally, when I was a kid! It was so menacing!!

Doc, you must be too young to remember the frightening theme to Barnaby Jones! It came at you all aggressive and scary, like you were the one who he was after! I think ol' Buddy Ebsen scared me straight because I was afraid to do anything illegal and have him on my trail! Sorry about the creep-out :)

I went with the Twilight Zone. But Night Gallery had some really creepy music.
I haven't seen Night Gallery in awhile. I really enjoyed it though when I watched it years ago.
No-one mentioned the theme from Perry Mason? Pretty creepy for a crime show!
I went for ALFRED HITCHCOCK, in celebration of my Grandmother, with whom I watched it, but my vote is split with TWILIGHT ZONE, for my older brother.... Rod Serling taught a High School boy that a 10 year old sister was NOT such a bad thing.

I don't even watch 'Dr. Who', but that's some of the greatest theme music ever (imo)~
I made a ringtone for my phone of the dr who theme. Love it. Tales from the darkside creeped me out as a kid aso! But so did the vincent price part on thriller! I like the Dexter theme music and true blood is pretty catchy too. And the newer battlestar galactica music is pretty awesome. I can't choose I like them all.
Millenium...Had the best theme. ( in my opion ).
