Greetings again, all. The second UMA toy tour figure tie-in up for auction is, as promised, "The Wolf Man" as he appeared in "House of Frankenstein." The auction is scheduled to start tomorrow (Sat.) at noon CST. The first auction for the "Teenage Frankenstein" is doing well, has a lot of watchers, and will probably attract a decent number of bids in the last few minutes. Thanks to members of the UMA who bid.
PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM MAKING NO MONEY OFF THESE FIGURES, AS ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO DIRECTLY HELP THE UMA TRAVELING TOY SHOW 2008. SO PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY. IT IS FOR A GOOD CAUSE.
On to the Wolf Man:
This gorgeous 8" Custom Monster figure was lovingly hand made by me, complete with real fur on the chest! Outfit is authentically styled. He is made to look like he just prowled off the screen. The body is fully poseable, and features some moves even Mego didn't think of, including a head that can swivel and look in all directions. This figure's look is based specifically on the appearance of the Wolfman in "H.O.F." Jack Pierce's brilliant make-up changed several times over the course of the various Wolf Man movies. I feel the make-up reached it's peak with this film. Note that Wolfie has fully poseable flat feet. By the time of this film, Lon Chaney's character was no longer walking on tip-toe. Also note the characteristic mud splotches on his slacks. He looks like he just came from a midnight walk through the forests of Vasaria! Every effort was made to give this figure film-accurate looks. You won't be disappointed when you get him in your home. Sure to be the centerpiece of and Wolf Man collection!

Truly spectacular piece, Matt. Thanks so much for doing this for the UMA and the toy tour!
There are a lot of Wolf Man toys out there, but I have never seen an articulated Wolf Man figure that had the same level of authenticity and charm. Several figures have one or the other, but not both.
Articulated? I didn't know that he spoke well, too!
"Meek"(speak the speech, I pray you . . .)
It is perfection!
Plain and simple.
Very nice. Wipes drool away from fang. ;D
Just a friendly reminder, this auction ends in less than 24 hours. This will likely be your only chance to own this great Wolf Man figure, and official UMA toy tour tie in. Don't miss out! Help support the UMA toy tour! In my humble opinion, I think he is the best of the three figures being offered for auction.

And keep an eye out for the Raven figure!
Best,
Matt
Well the Wolf Man auction has ended. I am very pleased with the result. This should really help the travelling toy museum. Thanks to all the UMA members who bid and made the auction a success!

I am very pleased with the result.
Wow! I guess so! And the lucky buyer is one of our favorite members.
Fantastic! It could not have gone to a better guy.
Yes, great results. Thanks again to Matt for doing this. Great idea! And congratulations to Richard; that's a mighty fine Wolf Man figure and worth every penny.
Sorry, I'm really late in posting this...just haven't had much time lately.
ANYWAY, ...a huge THANK YOU to Matt Jaycox for his fantastic skill in making this custom Wolf Man action figure ...AND... his great generosity to provide it for the UMA toy tour fundraiser!!!
I could not be more thrilled with this cool custom figure! It is, hands down, the best I've ever seen!!!
Pictures just can't do justice to how detailed this piece is!!! It is worth every penny-and then some.
Here are some pictures of "Wolfie" in his new home.
Again, THANK YOU, Matt!!!!!
Richard

That little critter is just making himself right at home, isn't he?
An assertive and dynamic leader of wolves.
Very nice bud, very nice. HHW
Wow Richard! Those pictures are awesome! Thanks so much for taking those. Incidentally, I wouldn't leave the car keys lying around. You have no idea what trouble that Wolf Man can get himself into. (Let's just say he's never heard the phrase: "Designated Driver")
We need more pictures of our dollies getting into shenanigans. This used to be a regular feature of the old Mego Museum group.
Speaking of which... Say... I wonder what that Tomland Mummy is up to these days.....
Beast witches,
Matt
