Title: Geraldine Ferraro
Post by: Sean on March 27, 2011, 07:56:17 PM
RIP, Mrs. Ferraro.  Your presence on the 1984 Mondale ticket (right?) struck a blow for women.

I also remember how important Ms. Ferraro was in that time and place we called  the 80s!  She was a part of American history that will be remembered by many   :)

Hello Robert.  I was trying to be neutral as can be.  I am the father of 2 young girls and I want them to know that they can pursue anything in this life that their little hearts desire.  No politics being spoken, really.  Just a warm RIP for an older girl who gives my girls hope for command of their own futures.

Whew, I thought I worded something wrong! It's so sad to see people who made history, in my lifetime, pass away. I always seem to remember them as the age I am now and I forget that they were getting older, just like me.  But she still seemed too young to go.

Robert, I appreciate the diligence you show in keeping the board free from the politics.  I thank you for reassuring me that I hadn't crossed the line.  You are a gentleman.

Not at all, Robert. All of the monitors do a valuable job here.
