At that price it must be cold cast.
Yeah, look behind the dog's head, where the cane starts to curve- the chrome looks wavy. I vote plastic.
Here's another view:

This is Halloween costume store stuff guys. The ring can be had for a whopping $3.99, and the inverness jacket is a little higher at $78.99. you can even buy the wig in case you no longer have hair for 19.99. Cheap-o junk most likely. :-[
having the replica of the original cane from the show is well worth the money it cost
Agreed.
Is this an attempt to be "first-to-market" in relation to the upcoming movie remake?
i thought i would share my barnabas

Suitably creepy Jack! Welcome the the UMA!!
My friend Brad will most likely buy all of this stuff since he is a huge fan of the show. I will report back on quality if this stuff is even released.
I have the more expensive cane, too, but I'm considering buying this as something I can display and not worry if it falls over and gets a little banged up.

The cool thing about the Alpaca cane is it really isn't a replica per se, it IS the cane that they actually used on the show, they just happened to be still making it. [Well, not sure if they currently make it, but it is around] Great, great piece.
The fact that it is made from nickel silver, and with glass eyes, really puts it over the top. Too bad they couldn't make a Chaney WOLF MAN cane in that quality for that price.
